حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ أَوْ لَيْلَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ فَقَالَ مَا أَخْرَجَكُمَا مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمَا هَذِهِ السَّاعَةَ قَالَا الْجُوعُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ وَأَنَا وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَأَخْرَجَنِي الَّذِي أَخْرَجَكُمَا قُومُوا فَقَامُوا مَعَهُ فَأَتَى رَجُلًا مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَإِذَا هُوَ لَيْسَ فِي بَيْتِهِ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ الْمَرْأَةُ قَالَتْ مَرْحَبًا وَأَهْلًا فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيْنَ فُلَانٌ قَالَتْ ذَهَبَ يَسْتَعْذِبُ لَنَا مِنْ الْمَاءِ إِذْ جَاءَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ فَنَظَرَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَاحِبَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مَا أَحَدٌ الْيَوْمَ أَكْرَمَ أَضْيَافًا مِنِّي قَالَ فَانْطَلَقَ فَجَاءَهُمْ بِعِذْقٍ فِيهِ بُسْرٌ وَتَمْرٌ وَرُطَبٌ فَقَالَ كُلُوا مِنْ هَذِهِ وَأَخَذَ الْمُدْيَةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِيَّاكَ وَالْحَلُوبَ فَذَبَحَ لَهُمْ فَأَكَلُوا مِنْ الشَّاةِ وَمِنْ ذَلِكَ الْعِذْقِ وَشَرِبُوا فَلَمَّا أَنْ شَبِعُوا وَرَوُوا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَنْ هَذَا النَّعِيمِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَخْرَجَكُمْ مِنْ بُيُوتِكُمْ الْجُوعُ ثُمَّ لَمْ تَرْجِعُوا حَتَّى أَصَابَكُمْ هَذَا النَّعِيمُ و حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ يَعْنِي المُغِيرَةَ بْنَ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُا بَيْنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَاعِدٌ وَعُمَرُ مَعَهُ إِذْ أَتَاهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ مَا أَقْعَدَكُمَا هَاهُنَا قَالَا أَخْرَجَنَا الْجُوعُ مِنْ بُيُوتِنَا وَالَّذِي بَعَثَكَ بِالْحَقِّ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ خَلَفِ بْنِ خَلِيفَةَ

Narrated to us by [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] Narrated to us by [Khalaf bin Khalifah] from [Yazid bin Kaisan] from [Abu Hazim] from [Abu Hurairah] who said One day or one night the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) went out of the house, suddenly he met Abu Bakr and Umar. Then he asked: 'Why did you go out of the house at night like this?' They replied 'We are hungry, O Messenger of Allah!' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'By Allah in Whose Hand is my soul, I also went out because of hunger like you. Come on!' They went following him to the house of an Ansari companion (Abu Haitsam bin At Taihan). But unfortunately he was not at home. But when his wife saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) coming, she said 'Welcome and greetings (welcome).' So the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) asked: 'Where is so-and-so (Abu Haitsam)?' His wife replied 'He is fetching fresh water for us.' Suddenly her husband came and saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) with his two companions, so he said 'Praise be to Allah, no one is happier than me today, because of the arrival of noble guests.' Then he took a bunch of dates, among them some that were still young, some starting to ripen, and some fully ripe. He said 'Please eat this.' While he took a knife. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'Do not slaughter the one that is still milking.' So he slaughtered a goat, then they ate the goat, ate the bunch of dates, and drank. After everyone was full and satisfied with eating and drinking, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said to Abu Bakr and Umar: 'By Allah in Whose Hand is my soul, you will be asked on the Day of Judgment about the blessing you obtained this. You left the house because of hunger and returned after obtaining this blessing.' Narrated to me by [Ishaq bin Manshur] It was informed to us by [Abu Hisyam] that is Al Mughirah bin Salamah Narrated to us by ['Abdul Wahid bin Ziyad] Narrated to us by [Yazid] Narrated to us by [Abu Hazim] who said I heard [Abu Hurairah] say When Abu Bakr and Umar were sitting, suddenly the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came to them, he asked: 'Why are you sitting here?' They replied 'We are hungry until we left the house.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'By Allah in Whose Hand is my soul,...' then he mentioned a hadith similar to the hadith of Khalfa bin Khalifah.
