Narrated to us [Abu Sa'id Al Asyajj], narrated to us [Abu Khalid Al Ahmar] from [Hajjaj bin Arthah] from [Qatadah] from [Ibnu Sirin] from [Abu Hurairah], he said, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever forgets, then eats or drinks while fasting, then do not invalidate his fast, because that is sustenance that Allah has provided for him." Narrated to us [Abu Sa'id Al Asyajj], narrated to us [Abu Usamah] from ['Auf] from [Ibnu Sirin] and [Khallas] from [Abu Hurairah] from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, like the above hadith. (Narrator) said, in this chapter (there is also narration -pent) from Abu Sa'id and Ummu Ishaq Al Ghanawiyyah. Abu 'Isa said, the hadith of Abu Hurairah is a hasan sahih hadith and practiced by most scholars like Sufyan Ats Tsauri, Syafi'i, Ahmad and Ishaq. While Imam Malik bin Anas said, if someone forgets, then eats and drinks in the month of Ramadan, then he must qadla' his fast. But the first opinion is more sahih.
