حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّ هِشَامًا الدَّسْتُوَائِيَّ وَأَبَانَ ابْنَ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَاهُمْ الْمَعْنَى عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍأَنَّ امْرَأَةً قَالَ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبَانَ مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ أَتَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ إِنَّهَا زَنَتْ وَهِيَ حُبْلَى فَدَعَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَلِيًّا لَهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَحْسِنْ إِلَيْهَا فَإِذَا وَضَعَتْ فَجِئْ بِهَا فَلَمَّا أَنْ وَضَعَتْ جَاءَ بِهَا فَأَمَرَ بِهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَشُكَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا ثُمَّ أَمَرَ بِهَا فَرُجِمَتْ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُمْ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ عُمَرُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا وَقَدْ زَنَتْ قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَقَدْ تَابَتْ تَوْبَةً لَوْ قُسِّمَتْ بَيْنَ سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ لَوَسِعَتْهُمْ وَهَلْ وَجَدْتَ أَفْضَلَ مِنْ أَنْ جَادَتْ بِنَفْسِهَا لَمْ يَقُلْ عَنْ أَبَانَ فَشُكَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَاحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَزِيرِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ قَالَ فَشُكَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا يَعْنِي فَشُدَّتْ
Narrated to us [Muslim bin Ibrahim], that [Hisyam Ad Dustuwa`i] and [Aban bin Yazid], both narrated to them, in meaning, from [Yahya] from [Abu Qilabah] from [Abu Al Muhallab] from [Imran bin Hushain], that a woman - in Aban’s hadith, from Juhainah - came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said she had committed adultery and was pregnant. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, called her guardian and said to him: 'Treat her well, and when she delivers, bring her back.' When she delivered, she was brought to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who ordered the punishment. Her clothes were secured (to cover her modesty), and he ordered the punishment be carried out, so she was stoned. He then ordered his companions to perform her funeral prayer, and they did. Umar said, 'O Messenger of Allah, why pray for her when she committed adultery?' He said: 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, she has repented, and if her repentance were shared with seventy of Medina’s people, it would suffice. Can you find anything greater than her willingly giving herself?' But the narrator didn’t mention from Aban the wording 'Her clothes were secured (to cover her modesty).' Narrated to us [Muhammad Ibnul Wazir Ad Dimasyqi], he said, narrated to us [Al Walid] from [Al Auza'i], he said, "Her clothes were secured (to cover her modesty), meaning tied."
