Imam Bukhari : 508حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الصُّبْحَ وَأَحَدُنَا يَعْرِفُ جَلِيسَهُ وَيَقْرَأُ فِيهَا مَا بَيْنَ السِّتِّينَ إِلَى الْمِائَةِ وَيُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ إِذَا زَالَتْ الشَّمْسُ وَالْعَصْرَ وَأَحَدُنَا يَذْهَبُ إِلَى أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ رَجَعَ وَالشَّمْسُ حَيَّةٌ وَنَسِيتُ مَا قَالَ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ وَلَا يُبَالِي بِتَأْخِيرِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِوَقَالَ مُعَاذٌ قَالَ شُعْبَةُ لَقِيتُهُ مَرَّةً فَقَالَ أَوْ ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ
Narrated to us Hafsh bin Umar, he Sa'd narrated to us Syu'bah, narrated to us Abu Al Minhal from Abu Barzah, that the Prophet, peace be upon him, performed the Subuh prayer, and one of us could recognize his neighbor. He recited between sixty and one hundred verses. He performed Dhuhr when the sun had passed its zenith, and Asr when one of us could go to the farthest part of Medina and return while the sun was still radiant. I forgot what he Sa'dabout Maghrib. He often delayed Isha until a third of the night, then said: until half the night. Mu'adz said: Syu'bah said: I met him once, and he said: or a third of the night."'
