Imam Nasa'i : 519أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا أَيُّوبَ الْأَزْدِيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ شُعْبَةُ كَانَ قَتَادَةُ يَرْفَعُهُ أَحْيَانًا وَأَحْيَانًا لَا يَرْفَعُهُقَالَ وَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ مَا لَمْ تَحْضُرْ الْعَصْرُ وَوَقْتُ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ مَا لَمْ تَصْفَرَّ الشَّمْسُ وَوَقْتُ الْمَغْرِبِ مَا لَمْ يَسْقُطْ ثَوْرُ الشَّفَقِ وَوَقْتُ الْعِشَاءِ مَا لَمْ يَنْتَصِفْ اللَّيْلُ وَوَقْتُ الصُّبْحِ مَا لَمْ تَطْلُعْ الشَّمْسُ
Narrated to us [Amr bin Ali] he said : [Abu Daud] Narrated to us [Shu'bah] Narrated to us [Qatadah] has said : I heard [Abu Ayyub Al Azdi] say; from [Abdullah bin Amru] -Shu'bah said : Qatadah sometimes attributed it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and sometimes not - he said : "The time for the Zuhr prayer is before the Asr prayer. And the time for the Asr prayer is as long as the sun has not turned yellow, the time for the Maghrib prayer is as long as the red twilight has not disappeared, the time for the Isha prayer is as long as the night is not half past, and the time for the Subuh prayer is before the sun rises."
