Jauhilah orang-orang yang bodoh atau awam
Imam Tirmidzi : 2984حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الطَّالَقَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أَخْبَرَنَا عُتْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ جَارِيَةَ اللَّخْمِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَيَّةَ الشَّعْبَانِيِّ قَالَ أَتَيْتُ أَبَا ثَعْلَبَةَ الْخُشَنِيَّ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ كَيْفَ تَصْنَعُ بِهَذِهِ الْآيَةِ قَالَ أَيَّةُ آيَةٍ قُلْتُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى { يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ لَا يَضُرُّكُمْ مَنْ ضَلَّ إِذَا اهْتَدَيْتُمْ } قَالَ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَ عَنْهَا خَبِيرًا سَأَلْتُ عَنْهَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ بَلْ ائْتَمِرُوا بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنَاهَوْا عَنْ الْمُنْكَرِ حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَيْتَ شُحًّا مُطَاعًا وَهَوًى مُتَّبَعًا وَدُنْيَا مُؤْثَرَةً وَإِعْجَابَ كُلِّ ذِي رَأْيٍ بِرَأْيِهِ فَعَلَيْكَ بِخَاصَّةِ نَفْسِكَ وَدَعْ الْعَوَامَّ فَإِنَّ مِنْ وَرَائِكُمْ أَيَّامًا الصَّبْرُ فِيهِنَّ مِثْلُ الْقَبْضِ عَلَى الْجَمْرِ لِلْعَامِلِ فِيهِنَّ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ خَمْسِينَ رَجُلًا يَعْمَلُونَ مِثْلَ عَمَلِكُمْ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ وَزَادَنِي غَيْرُ عُتْبَةَ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَجْرُ خَمْسِينَ مِنَّا أَوْ مِنْهُمْ قَالَ بَلْ أَجْرُ خَمْسِينَ مِنْكُمْ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ
Narrated to us [Sa'id bin Ya'qub Ath Thalaqani] has told us [Abdullah bin Al Mubarak] has told us ['Utbah bin Abu Hakim] has told us ['Amru bin Jariyah Al Lakhmi] from [Abu Umaiyah Asy Sya'bani] he said : I met [Abu Tsa'labah Al Khusyani] then I said to him; "What do you do with this verse?" he asked; "Which verse?" I explained; Words of Allah Ta'ala O you who believe, take care of yourselves, no misguided person will harm you if you have received guidance. QS Al Ma`idah: 105, Abu Tsa'labah said : "Remember, by Allah, you ask people who know, I once asked the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him , then he answered: "However, command good and forbid evil until you see stinginess being obeyed, lust being followed, worldly life taking priority and admiration of everyone with their opinions, you must (hold) to the eyes of your heart and leave the common people behind, because behind you there will be a a time when patience at that time was like holding hot coals, people who did good deeds at that time were the same as the reward of fifty people who did the same as your deeds." Abdullah bin Al Mubarak said : Besides 'Utbah added to me: It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, the reward of fifty people from us or from them?" He answered: "Even the reward of fifty people from you." Abu Isa said : This hadith hasan gharib.
