Nabi mengampuni Hathib meskipun berkhianat membocorkan rencana Nabi kepada musyrikin karena menghargai peserta perang Badar

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَإِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِعَمْرٍو قَالَ إِسْحَقُ أَخْبَرَنَا و قَالَ الْآخَرُونَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي رَافِعٍ وَهُوَ كَاتِبُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ بَعَثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَا وَالزُّبَيْرَ وَالْمِقْدَادَ فَقَالَ ائْتُوا رَوْضَةَ خَاخٍ فَإِنَّ بِهَا ظَعِينَةً مَعَهَا كِتَابٌ فَخُذُوهُ مِنْهَا فَانْطَلَقْنَا تَعَادَى بِنَا خَيْلُنَا فَإِذَا نَحْنُ بِالْمَرْأَةِ فَقُلْنَا أَخْرِجِي الْكِتَابَ فَقَالَتْ مَا مَعِي كِتَابٌ فَقُلْنَا لَتُخْرِجِنَّ الْكِتَابَ أَوْ لَتُلْقِيَنَّ الثِّيَابَ فَأَخْرَجَتْهُ مِنْ عِقَاصِهَا فَأَتَيْنَا بِهِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَإِذَا فِيهِ مِنْ حَاطِبِ بْنِ أَبِي بَلْتَعَةَ إِلَى نَاسٍ مِنْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ مِنْ أَهْلِ مَكَّةَ يُخْبِرُهُمْ بِبَعْضِ أَمْرِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَا حَاطِبُ مَا هَذَا قَالَ لَا تَعْجَلْ عَلَيَّ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي كُنْتُ امْرَأً مُلْصَقًا فِي قُرَيْشٍ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ كَانَ حَلِيفًا لَهُمْ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهَا أَكَانَ مِمَّنْ كَانَ مَعَكَ مِنْ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ لَهُمْ قَرَابَاتٌ يَحْمُونَ بِهَا أَهْلِيهِمْ فَأَحْبَبْتُ إِذْ فَاتَنِي ذَلِكَ مِنْ النَّسَبِ فِيهِمْ أَنْ أَتَّخِذَ فِيهِمْ يَدًا يَحْمُونَ بِهَا قَرَابَتِي وَلَمْ أَفْعَلْهُ كُفْرًا وَلَا ارْتِدَادًا عَنْ دِينِي وَلَا رِضًا بِالْكُفْرِ بَعْدَ الْإِسْلَامِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَدَقَ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ دَعْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَضْرِبْ عُنُقَ هَذَا الْمُنَافِقِ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ قَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ اللَّهَ اطَّلَعَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ فَقَالَ اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ فَقَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَكُمْ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا عَدُوِّي وَعَدُوَّكُمْ أَوْلِيَاءَ } وَلَيْسَ فِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَزُهَيْرٍ ذِكْرُ الْآيَةِ وَجَعَلَهَا إِسْحَقُ فِي رِوَايَتِهِ مِنْ تِلَاوَةِ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا رِفَاعَةُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبَا مَرْثَدٍ الْغَنَوِيَّ وَالزُّبَيْرَ بْنَ الْعَوَّامِ وَكُلُّنَا فَارِسٌ فَقَالَ انْطَلِقُوا حَتَّى تَأْتُوا رَوْضَةَ خَاخٍ فَإِنَّ بِهَا امْرَأَةً مِنْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ مَعَهَا كِتَابٌ مِنْ حَاطِبٍ إِلَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَذَكَرَ بِمَعْنَى حَدِيثِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

Narrated to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah], ['Amru An Naqid], [Zuhair bin Harb], [Ishaq bin Ibrahim] and [Ibnu Abu 'Umar] this wording belongs to 'Amru. [Ishaq] said Informed us, while the others said Narrated to us [Sufyan bin 'Uyainah] from ['Amru] from [Al Hasan bin Muhammad] Informed me ['Ubaidullah bin Abu Rafi'] that is a scribe of Ali who said I heard [Ali] say 'The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him once assigned me, Zubair, and Miqdad. Before leaving, the Messenger of Allah said: 'Go to the Khakh garden and there is a woman carrying a letter. Then, seize that letter from her!' Then we left riding horses and there we met a woman. Then we said to her 'Take out the letter you are carrying!' The woman answered 'I am not carrying a letter.' We said to her while giving an ultimatum 'You take out that letter or we will strip you by force.' So she took out the letter from behind her hair bun. Then we brought that letter to the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him and it turned out that in it was written 'From Hathib bin Abu Balta'ah to the Quraysh disbelievers in Makkah about some affairs of the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him.' The Messenger of Allah asked 'O Hathib, what is this?' Hathib answered 'O Messenger of Allah, do not be hasty in anger towards me! Actually I used to be close to the Quraysh disbelievers in Makkah (Abu Sufyan said 'Hathib is an ally of the Quraysh disbelievers, but he himself is not from Quraysh). I also used to migrate with you leaving the family in the city of Makkah which they are cared for by their relatives. When their relatives are no longer there, then I want there to be a guarantee from them to protect my family. Of course, I do this not because of disbelief or apostasy from my religion. Because, anyway I do not want to become a disbeliever after entering Islam.' Hearing the direct explanation from Hathib, the Messenger of Allah said: 'You are right O Hathib.' Suddenly Umar bin Khaththab said 'O Messenger of Allah, allow me to behead this hypocrite!' The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said: 'O Umar, do you know that Hathib also participated in the battle of Badr. Do you not know that indeed Allah has given leniency to those who participated in the battle of Badr and said: 'Please do as you please, indeed I have forgiven you!' Then Allah the Exalted revealed the verse which reads: 'O you who believe, do not make My enemies and your enemies as loyal friends.' (Al Mumtahanah (60): 1). Ishaq included that verse in his narration based on the recitation of Abu Sufyan. Narrated to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Fudhail] Similarly narrated from another chain, And narrated to us [Ishaq bin Ibrahim] Informed us ['Abdullah bin Idris] Similarly narrated from another chain, And narrated to us [Rifa'ah bin Al Haitsam Al Wasithi] Narrated to us [Khalid] that is Ibnu 'Abdullah all from [Hushain] from [Sa'ad bin 'Ubadah] from [Abu 'Abdur Rahman As Sulami] from ['Ali] who said The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him once assigned me, Abu Martsad Al Ghanawi and Zubair bin Awwam riding horses Before leaving, the Messenger of Allah said: 'Go to the Khakh garden and there is a woman from the polytheists carrying a letter from Hathib to the polytheists... -Next as the Hadith similar to the Hadith of Ubaidullah bin Abu Rafi' from Ali.
