Nabi mengampuni Hathib meskipun berkhianat membocorkan rencana Nabi kepada musyrikin karena menghargai peserta perang Badar
Imam Darimi : 2643حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَيْنَ فُلَانٌ فَغَمَزَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُ وَإِنَّهُ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا قَالُوا بَلَى قَالَ فَلَعَلَّ اللَّهَ اطَّلَعَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ فَقَالَ اعْمَلُوا مَا شِئْتُمْ فَقَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَكُمْ
Narrated to us [Amr bin 'Ashim] Narrated to us [Hammad bin Salamah] from ['Ashim] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Prophet Peace be upon him asked: "Where is so and so?" Then one of his friends criticized him; In fact, it is like this and like that. The Prophet Peace be upon him asked: "Didn't he take part in the battle of Badr?" They answered; Correct. He said: "May Allah meet Ahlu Badr, He has said: (Do what you like, because I have forgiven you)
