حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً كَانَ فِي عَقْلِهَا شَيْءٌ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ لِي حَاجَةً فَقَالَ يَا أُمَّ فُلَانٍ انْظُرِي إِلَى أَيِّ الطَّرِيقِ شِئْتِ فَقَامَ مَعَهَا يُنَاجِيهَا حَتَّى قَضَتْ حَاجَتَهَا
Narrated to us ['Affan] Narrated to us [Hammad] from [Thabit] from [Anas] there was a woman whose mind was not quite right and said: O Messenger of Allah, I have a need. Then (The Messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Umm Fulan, take the path you want" then (The Messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him) stood with her and talked to her until the (woman's) business was finished.
