Imam Ahmad : 3023حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ { لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ } قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَالِجُ مِنْ التَّنْزِيلِ شِدَّةً فَكَانَ يُحَرِّكُ شَفَتَيْهِ قَالَ فَقَالَ لِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَا أُحَرِّكُ شَفَتَيَّ كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحَرِّكُ وَقَالَ لِي سَعِيدٌ أَنَا أُحَرِّكُ كَمَا رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يُحَرِّكُ شَفَتَيْهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ } قَالَ جَمْعَهُ فِي صَدْرِكَ ثُمَّ نَقْرَؤُهُ { فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ } فَاسْتَمِعْ لَهُ وَأَنْصِتْ { ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ } فَكَانَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ إِذَا انْطَلَقَ جِبْرِيلُ قَرَأَهُ كَمَا أَقْرَأَهُ
Narrated to us [Abdurrahman] from [Abu 'Awanah] from [Musa bin Abu 'A`isyah] from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibn Abbas] about the word of Allah, (Do not move your tongue to (read) the Koran because you will quickly (master) it.) he said : The Prophet peace be upon him tried hard to immediately master the revelation that came down, then he moved his lips. He (Sa'id) said : Then Ibn Abbas said to me; I moved my lips as the Prophet peace be upon him moved. And Sa'id said to me; I moved (my lips) as I saw Ibn Abbas move his lips. So Allah revealed the verse: (Do not move your tongue to (read) the Koran because you want to quickly (master) it. Indeed, it is at our expense to collect it (in your chest) and (make you clever at) reading it) He (Ibn Abbas) said : Collect it for you in your heart, and make you proficient in its recitation. (When we have finished reciting it, then follow its recitation) (meaning); So listen and be silent. (Then, Verily, its explanation is upon Us). So after that, when Gabriel had gone, he recited it as Gabriel had recited it.
