Imam Bukhari : 6970حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ أَبِي عَائِشَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍفِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى{ لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ }قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعَالِجُ مِنْ التَّنْزِيلِ شِدَّةً وَكَانَ يُحَرِّكُ شَفَتَيْهِ فَقَالَ لِي ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ فَأَنَا أُحَرِّكُهُمَا لَكَ كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحَرِّكُهُمَا فَقَالَ سَعِيدٌ أَنَا أُحَرِّكُهُمَا كَمَا كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُحَرِّكُهُمَا فَحَرَّكَ شَفَتَيْهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ{ لَا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ }قَالَ جَمْعُهُ فِي صَدْرِكَ ثُمَّ تَقْرَؤُهُ{ فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَاتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ }قَالَ فَاسْتَمِعْ لَهُ وَأَنْصِتْ ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا أَنْ تَقْرَأَهُ قَالَ فَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَتَاهُ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَام اسْتَمَعَ فَإِذَا انْطَلَقَ جِبْرِيلُ قَرَأَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَمَا أَقْرَأَهُ
Narrated to us Qutaibah bin Sa'id, narrated to us Abu Awanah, from Musa bin Abu Aishah, from Sa'id bin Jubair, from Ibn Abbas, regarding His saying, Exalted is He, Do not move your tongue with it" (Quran, Al-Qiyamah: 16). He said, 'The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was exerting himself with the revelation and moving his lips. Ibn Abbas said to me, "So I move them for you as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, moved them." Sa'id said, "I move them as Ibn Abbas moved them," and he moved his lips. So Allah, Mighty and Sublime, revealed, "Do not move your tongue with it to hasten it. Indeed, upon Us is its collection and its recitation" (Quran, Al-Qiyamah: 16-17). He said, "Its collection in your chest, then you recite it." "So when We have recited it, then follow its recitation" (Quran, Al-Qiyamah: 18). He said, "Listen to it and be silent, then it is upon Us that you recite it." He said, 'So when Jibril, peace be upon him, came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, he listened, and when Jibril departed, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, recited it as he had been taught.'"
