حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ آدَمَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ { إِنْ تُبْدُوا مَا فِي أَنْفُسِكُمْ أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ يُحَاسِبْكُمْ بِهِ اللَّهُ } قَالَ دَخَلَ قُلُوبَهُمْ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ لَمْ يَدْخُلْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَقَالُوا لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ قُولُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا فَأَلْقَى اللَّهُ الْإِيمَانَ فِي قُلُوبِهِمْ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى { آمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ } الْآيَةَ { لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا } قَالَ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ { رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا } قَالَ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ { رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا } الْآيَةَ قَالَ قَدْ فَعَلْتُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا مِنْ غَيْرِ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَآدَمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ يُقَالُ هُوَ وَالِدُ يَحْيَى بْنِ آدَمَ
Narrated to us [Mahmud bin Ghailan] has told us [Waki'] has told us [Sufyan] from [Adam bin Sulaiman] from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibn Abbas] he said : "When this verse comes down, if you give birth to what is in your heart or you hide it, surely Allah will make a calculation with you about your actions." QS Al-Baqarah: 284. Ibn Abbas said : "There was something that entered their hearts like no other, they said to the Prophet peace be upon him , then he said: "Say: We hear and we obey." Then Allah pinned faith in their hearts. After that Allah Tabaaraka wa Ta'ala revealed the verse: The Messenger has believed in the Qur'an which was revealed to him from his Lord, so do those who believe and so on, Allah does not burden a person but according to his ability. He is rewarded. (from the good) which he strives for and he is punished (from the evil) which he does (they pray): 'Our Lord, do not punish us if we forget or we are guilty. Our Lord, do not impose on us a heavy burden as you imposed on those before us. he said: "I have done it. O our Rabb, do not bear upon us what we cannot bear. forgive us; forgive us; and have mercy on us and so on, he said: "I have done it." Abu Isa said : This hadith is hasan shahih. This hadith is also narrated through another route from Ibn Abbas. In this case, there is a similar hadith from Abu Hurairah radliallahu 'anhu. Adam bin Some say Sulaiman was his son Yahya bin Adam.
