Larangan minum dan makan dari bejana emas dan perak
Imam Ahmad : 22275حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى قَالَ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ حُذَيْفَةَ إِلَى بَعْضِ هَذَا السَّوَادِ فَاسْتَسْقَى فَأَتَاهُ دِهْقَانٌ بِإِنَاءٍ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ قَالَ فَرَمَاهُ بِهِ فِي وَجْهِهِ قَالَ قُلْنَا اسْكُتُوا اسْكُتُوا وَإِنَّا إِنْ سَأَلْنَاهُ لَمْ يُحَدِّثْنَا قَالَ فَسَكَتْنَا قَالَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ قَالَ أَتَدْرُونَ لِمَ رَمَيْتُ بِهِ فِي وَجْهِهِ قَالَ قُلْنَا لَا قَالَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ نَهَيْتُهُ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَشْرَبُوا فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ قَالَ مُعَاذٌ لَا تَشْرَبُوا فِي الذَّهَبِ وَلَا فِي الْفِضَّةِ وَلَا تَلْبَسُوا الْحَرِيرَ وَلَا الدِّيبَاجَ فَإِنَّهُمَا لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَكُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Abu 'Adi] from [Ibn 'Aun] from [Mujahid] from [Ibn Abi Laila] said: Narrated to us [Ibn 'Aun] from [Mujahid] from ['Abdur Rahman bin Abu Laila] said: I went with [Hudzaifah bin Al Yaman] towards this crowd, he asked for water then he was given a silver vessel full of water then he threw it in his face, we said: Be quiet, be quiet, if we ask him he won't tell us. We were silent. After that, Hudzaifah bin Al Yaman said: Do you know why I threw it in his face? We answer: No. Hudzaifah bin Al Yaman said: I once prohibited it. Then he mentioned that the Prophet Peace be upon him wa salam said: "Do not drink from golden vessels." [Mu'adz] said: Do not drink from gold or silver vessels, do not wear thick or thin silk, because both are for them (the infidels) in this world and for you in the Hereafter.
