Sesungguhnya imam dijadikan untuk diikuti, apabila dia rukuk maka rukuklah, bila dia mengangkat kepalanya maka angkatlah kepala
Imam Nasa'i : 821أَخْبَرَنَا مُؤَمَّلُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ حِطَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَصَلَّى بِنَا أَبُو مُوسَى فَلَمَّا كَانَ فِي الْقَعْدَةِ دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ فَقَالَ أُقِرَّتْ الصَّلَاةُ بِالْبِرِّ وَالزَّكَاةِ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ أَبُو مُوسَى أَقْبَلَ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ فَقَالَ أَيُّكُمْ الْقَائِلُ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةَ فَأَرَمَّ الْقَوْمُ قَالَ يَا حِطَّانُ لَعَلَّكَ قُلْتَهَا قَالَ لَا وَقَدْ خَشِيتُ أَنْ تَبْكَعَنِي بِهَا فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُعَلِّمُنَا صَلَاتَنَا وَسُنَّتَنَا فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ فَإِذَا كَبَّرَ فَكَبِّرُوا وَإِذَا قَالَ{ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّالِّينَ }فَقُولُوا آمِينَ يُجِبْكُمْ اللَّهُ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا وَإِذَا رَفَعَ فَقَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ يَسْمَعْ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَاسْجُدُوا وَإِذَا رَفَعَ فَارْفَعُوا فَإِنَّ الْإِمَامَ يَسْجُدُ قَبْلَكُمْ وَيَرْفَعُ قَبْلَكُمْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتِلْكَ بِتِلْكَ
Narrated to us [Muammal bin Hisham] he said :Narrated to us [Isma'il bin 'Ulayyah] from [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Yunus bin Jubair] from [Hiththan bin Abdullah] he said : "We prayed with Abu Musa, after he sat down a man from his people came and said, 'The prayer has been established with goodness and zakat'. After Abu Musa greeted him, he turned to his people and said, 'Who said that earlier?' 'Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihi wasallam taught us prayers and Sunnahs, he sallallahu'alaihi wasallam said, "The Imam is to be followed. If he says takbir then make takbir and if the imam says, 'Ghairil maghdhubi 'alaihim walaadh-dhaalliin (Not those who are angry nor those who go astray)' then say, 'Aamiin'. May Allah grant you. If the imam bows then bow and if he raises (the head from bowing') by saying 'Sami'allaahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him)' then say, 'Rabbanaa lakal hamdu (O our Rabb, to You is all praise)' May Allah hear you. If the imam prostrates then he also prostrates and if he lifts (his head from prostrating) then he raises it. The Imam prostrates before you and raises (the head of the prostration) before you." Then Rasulullah Sallallahu'alaihi wasallam said - these are the procedures that must be carried out between the imam and the congregation -, "You follow each movement afterwards."
