Sesungguhnya imam dijadikan untuk diikuti, apabila dia rukuk maka rukuklah, bila dia mengangkat kepalanya maka angkatlah kepala
Imam Darimi : 1277أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الْإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ فَإِذَا كَبَّرَ فَكَبِّرُوا وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا وَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَاسْجُدُوا وَإِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَإِذَا صَلَّى قَائِمًا فَصَلُّوا قِيَامًا وَإِذَا صَلَّى جَالِسًا فَصَلُّوا جُلُوسًا أَجْمَعُونَ
Narrated to us [Yazid bin Harun] Narrated to us [Muhammad bin 'Amru] from [Abu Salamah] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him said: "Indeed he was made an imam so that he would be followed, if he prostrates then prostrate, if he bows then bow, if he prostrates then prostrates, if he pronounce; 'SAMI'ALLAHU LIMAN HAMIDAH (May Allah hear the praise of those who praise Him), then say:'RABBANAA LAKAL HAMDU (O our Rabb, to You is all praise). And if he prays standing then pray standing, if he prays sitting then pray all sitting.
