Sesungguhnya imam dijadikan untuk diikuti, apabila dia rukuk maka rukuklah, bila dia mengangkat kepalanya maka angkatlah kepala
Imam Nasa'i : 823أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَكِبَ فَرَسًا فَصُرِعَ عَنْهُ فَجُحِشَ شِقُّهُ الْأَيْمَنُ فَصَلَّى صَلَاةً مِنْ الصَّلَوَاتِ وَهُوَ قَاعِدٌ فَصَلَّيْنَا وَرَاءَهُ قُعُودًا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الْإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ فَإِذَا صَلَّى قَائِمًا فَصَلُّوا قِيَامًا وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا وَإِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَإِذَا صَلَّى جَالِسًا فَصَلُّوا جُلُوسًا أَجْمَعُونَ
Narrated to us [Qutaibah] from [Malik] from [Ibnu Shihab] from [Anas bin Malik] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu'alaihi wasallam once rode a horse and he fell from the horse, so the right side of his body was injured. Then he prayed while sitting. and we also prayed behind him while sitting. After completing the prayer, He sallallaahu'alaihi wasallam said, "A priest is not made but to be followed. If he prays standing, then you pray standing, and if he bows, then bow, and if he says 'Sami'allahuliman hamidah (Allah Hears those who praise him) then say, 'Rabbana lakal hamdu (O Allah, to You is all praise) and if he prays sitting then pray while sitting."
