Sesungguhnya imam dijadikan untuk diikuti, apabila dia rukuk maka rukuklah, bila dia mengangkat kepalanya maka angkatlah kepala
Imam Bukhari : 692حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الْإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ فَإِذَا كَبَّرَ فَكَبِّرُوا وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا وَإِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ فَقُولُوا رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَاسْجُدُوا وَإِذَا صَلَّى جَالِسًا فَصَلُّوا جُلُوسًا أَجْمَعُونَ
Narrated to us Abu Al Yaman, he Sa'd informed us Shu'aib, he Sa'd narrated to me Abu Az Zinad from Al A'raj from Abu Hurairah, he Sa'd 'The Prophet peace be upon him, said: The imam is appointed to be followed. When he says takbir, say takbir; when he bows, you bow; when he says, 'Allah hears those who praise Him,' say, 'Our Lord, to You be praise'; when he prostrates, you prostrate; and when he prays sitting, all of you pray sitting.'
