Imam Tirmidzi : 140حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْبَزَّارُ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى الْمَعْنَى وَاحِدٌ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلٌ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنْ مَوَاقِيتِ الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ أَقِمْ مَعَنَا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ فَأَمَرَ بِلَالًا فَأَقَامَ حِينَ طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ فَأَقَامَ حِينَ زَالَتْ الشَّمْسُ فَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ فَأَقَامَ فَصَلَّى الْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءُ مُرْتَفِعَةٌ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ بِالْمَغْرِبِ حِينَ وَقَعَ حَاجِبُ الشَّمْسِ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ بِالْعِشَاءِ فَأَقَامَ حِينَ غَابَ الشَّفَقُ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ مِنْ الْغَدِ فَنَوَّرَ بِالْفَجْرِ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ بِالظُّهْرِ فَأَبْرَدَ وَأَنْعَمَ أَنْ يُبْرِدَ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ بِالْعَصْرِ فَأَقَامَ وَالشَّمْسُ آخِرَ وَقْتِهَا فَوْقَ مَا كَانَتْ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ فَأَخَّرَ الْمَغْرِبَ إِلَى قُبَيْلِ أَنْ يَغِيبَ الشَّفَقُ ثُمَّ أَمَرَهُ بِالْعِشَاءِ فَأَقَامَ حِينَ ذَهَبَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَيْنَ السَّائِلُ عَنْ مَوَاقِيتِ الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ أَنَا فَقَالَ مَوَاقِيتُ الصَّلَاةِ كَمَا بَيْنَ هَذَيْنِقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ قَالَ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ مَرْثَدٍ أَيْضًا
Narrated to us [Ahmad bin Mani'] and [Al Hasan bin Ash Shabbah Al Bazzar] and [Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Musa] with one meaning. They said: "Narrated to us [Ishaq bin Yusuf Al Azraq] from [Sufyan Ats Tsauri] from [Alqamah bin Martsad] from [Sulaiman bin Buraidah] from [his father], he said: 'A man came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and asked about prayer times, so he said: "Pray with us these two days – in sya Allah." He ordered Bilal for iqamah at dawn: then at decline for Zuhr: then when the sun was white and high for Asr: then at sunset for Maghrib: then when red vanished for Isha. Next day: iqamah when bright for Subuh: waited till cool for Zuhr: near end for Asr: delayed Maghrib till red nearly gone: after one-third night for Isha. Then: "Where is the questioner?" He said: "Here." He said: "Prayer times are between these two."'" Abu Isa said: "This hadith is hasan gharib sahih." He said: "[Syu'bah] also narrated it from [Alqamah bin Martsad]."
