Puasa menjauhkan dari neraka selama 70 musim
Imam Darimi : 2292أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَصُومُ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللَّهِ إِلَّا بَاعَدَ اللَّهُ بَيْنَ وَجْهِهِ وَبَيْنَ النَّارِ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا
Narrated to us [Hajjaj bin Minhal] Narrated to us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Suhail bin Abu Salih] from [An Nu'man bin Abu 'Ayyasy] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] from the Prophet Peace be upon him, he said: "It is not a servant who fasts a day in the way of Allah in hope of Allah's face, but Allah will distance the distance between his face and Hell for seventy years.
