Jarak antara permohonan penghuni neraka dengan jawaban Malaikat Malik kepada mereka adalah seribu tahun, lalu dijawab “kalian akan tetap tinggal”

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَخْبَرَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا قُطْبَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُلْقَى عَلَى أَهْلِ النَّارِ الْجُوعُ فَيَعْدِلُ مَا هُمْ فِيهِ مِنْ الْعَذَابِ فَيَسْتَغِيثُونَ فَيُغَاثُونَ بِطَعَامٍ مِنْ ضَرِيعٍ لَا يُسْمِنُ وَلَا يُغْنِي مِنْ جُوعٍ فَيَسْتَغِيثُونَ بِالطَّعَامِ فَيُغَاثُونَ بِطَعَامٍ ذِي غُصَّةٍ فَيَذْكُرُونَ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُجِيزُونَ الْغَصَصَ فِي الدُّنْيَا بِالشَّرَابِ فَيَسْتَغِيثُونَ بِالشَّرَابِ فَيُرْفَعُ إِلَيْهِمْ الْحَمِيمُ بِكَلَالِيبِ الْحَدِيدِ فَإِذَا دَنَتْ مِنْ وُجُوهِهِمْ شَوَتْ وُجُوهَهُمْ فَإِذَا دَخَلَتْ بُطُونَهُمْ قَطَّعَتْ مَا فِي بُطُونِهِمْ فَيَقُولُونَ ادْعُوا خَزَنَةَ جَهَنَّمَ فَيَقُولُونَ أَلَمْ{ تَكُ تَأْتِيكُمْ رُسُلُكُمْ بِالْبَيِّنَاتِ قَالُوا بَلَى قَالُوا فَادْعُوا وَمَا دُعَاءُ الْكَافِرِينَ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ }قَالَ فَيَقُولُونَ ادْعُوا مَالِكًا فَيَقُولُونَ{ يَا مَالِكُ لِيَقْضِ عَلَيْنَا رَبُّكَ }قَالَ فَيُجِيبُهُمْ{ إِنَّكُمْ مَاكِثُونَ }قَالَ الْأَعْمَشُ نُبِّئْتُ أَنَّ بَيْنَ دُعَائِهِمْ وَبَيْنَ إِجَابَةِ مَالِكٍ إِيَّاهُمْ أَلْفَ عَامٍ قَالَ فَيَقُولُونَ ادْعُوا رَبَّكُمْ فَلَا أَحَدَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ فَيَقُولُونَ{ رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوْمًا ضَالِّينَ رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَالِمُونَ }قَالَ فَيُجِيبُهُمْ{ اخْسَئُوا فِيهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُونِ }قَالَ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ يَئِسُوا مِنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ وَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ يَأْخُذُونَ فِي الزَّفِيرِ وَالْحَسْرَةِ وَالْوَيْلِقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَالنَّاسُ لَا يَرْفَعُونَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ شِمْرِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أُمِّ الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَوْلَهُ وَلَيْسَ بِمَرْفُوعٍ وَقُطْبَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ هُوَ ثِقَةٌ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْحَدِيثِ

Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Abdurrahman] has told us ['Ashim bin Yusuf] has told us [Quthbah bin Abdul Aziz] from [Al A'masy] from [Syimir bin Athiyyah] from [Syahr bin Hausyab] from [Ummu Ad Darda'] from [Abu Ad Darda'] he said, Rasulullah peace be upon him said: "It will be thrown to the inhabitants of hell feel hungry in proportion to the torment they are experiencing, then they ask for help, then they are helped by being given food from "dhari" (a thorny tree) which neither fattens nor eliminates hunger, then they ask to be given food and then they are given food that clogs up their throats, then they remember that in the past in the world they cured the blockage of their throats with drink, so they ask to be given drink, then boiling water is poured on them with "Al Kalalib" (an iron with a bent end used for lift the meat from the jug) which when it is close to their faces become burnt, their faces become burnt, and if they enter their stomachs they will definitely cut up the organs in their stomachs, then they say to each other; 'Plead to the guardian of the Hell of Hell' but they read the verse 'And have your messengers not yet come to you with information' They answered: 'Yes, they have come.' the guards of Jahannam said: 'Pray ye.' And the prayers of those who disbelieve are only in vain." (QS Ghafir: 50) The Messenger of Allah said : "Then they said : 'Plead to Angel Malik,' they said : (O Malik, let your Lord kill us only) ". QS Az-Zukhrf: 77. The Prophet said: "He answered; 'You will remain (in this hell)'." -Al A'masy said : 'I was told that the gap between their supplication and the Angel Malik's answer to them was a thousand years,' - the Prophet said: "Then they said to each other; 'Ask your Rabb because there is no one better than your Rabb'. Then they begged; 'Our Lord, we have been overcome by our evil, and we used to be astray. unjust people.'" QS Al Mukminun: 106-107. The Prophet said: "Then Allah answered them; 'Stay humbly in it, and do not speak to Me'." QS Al Mukminun: 108. The Prophet said: "Then at that time they despaired of all goodness, and at that time they brayed and regretted and wretched." Abdullah bin Abdurrahman said : "People do not recite (connect to the Prophet) this hadith." Abu Isa said : 'We know this hadith only from Al A'masy from Syimir bin Athiyyah from Syahr bin Hasyab from Umm Ad Darda' from the words of Abu Ad Darda', and he is not marfu'. As for Qutbah bin Abdul Aziz, he was a tsiqah according to hadith experts."
