Apabila Allah mencintai seorang hamba
Imam Tirmidzi : 1959حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفَرْوِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ غَزِيَّةَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَحَبَّ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا حَمَاهُ الدُّنْيَا كَمَا يَظَلُّ أَحَدُكُمْ يَحْمِي سَقِيمَهُ الْمَاءَقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ وَأُمِّ الْمُنْذِرِ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلًا حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَقَتَادَةُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ الظَّفَرِيُّ هُوَ أَخُو أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ لِأُمِّهِ وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ لَبِيدٍ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَآهُ وَهُوَ غُلَامٌ صَغِيرٌ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Yahya], narrated to us [Ishaq bin Muhammad Al Farwi], narrated to us [Isma'il bin Ja'far] from [Umarah bin Ghaziyyah] from [Ashim bin Umar bin Qatadah] from [Mahmud bin Labid] from [Qatadah bin An Nu'man] that: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'When Allah loves a servant, He protects him from the trials of the world, just as one of you shades his sick one from water.' Abu Isa said: A similar hadith was narrated from Shuhaib and Ummu Al Mundzir. This is a hasan gharib hadith. This hadith was also narrated from [Mahmud bin Labid] from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in a mursal form. Narrated to us [Ali bin Hujr], informed us [Isma'il bin Ja'far] from [Amru bin Abu Amru] and from [Ashim bin Umar bin Qatadah] from [Mahmud bin Labid] from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, similarly. However, it does not mention: From Qatadah bin An Nu'man. Abu Isa said: Qatadah bin An Nu'man Azh Zhafari is the brother of Sa'id Al Khudri through their mother. Mahmud bin Labid met the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and saw him when he was a child.
