حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْنٌ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أنَسًا يَقُولُلَمْ يَكُنْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالطَّوِيلِ الْبَائِنِ وَلَا بِالْقَصِيرِ الْمُتَرَدِّدِ وَلَا بِالْأَبْيَضِ الْأَمْهَقِ وَلَا بِالْآدَمِ وَلَيْسَ بِالْجَعْدِ الْقَطَطِ وَلَا بِالسَّبِطِ بَعَثَهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَأْسِ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً فَأَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرًا وَتَوَفَّاهُ اللَّهُ عَلَى رَأْسِ سِتِّينَ سَنَةً وَلَيْسَ فِي رَأْسِهِ وَلِحْيَتِهِ عِشْرُونَ شَعْرَةً بَيْضَاءَقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
Narrated to us [Qutaibah] from [Malik bin Anas]. And narrated from another chain, narrated to us [Al Anshari], narrated to us [Ma'n], narrated to us [Malik bin Anas] from [Rabi'ah bin Abu Abdurrahman] that he heard [Anas] say: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was a person of medium stature, not tall and not short, not pale white and not brown, not curly and not straight hair. Allah sent him when he was forty years old, he stayed in Mecca for more than ten years and in Madinah for ten years. Allah caused him to pass away when he was sixty years old, on his head and beard there were no more than twenty white hairs (gray)." Abu Isa said: "This hadith is hasan sahih."
