Agama Allah dimasuki manusia dengan berbondong-bondong
Imam Ahmad : 2961حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ كَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ يَأْذَنُ لِأَهْلِ بَدْرٍ وَيَأْذَنُ لِي مَعَهُمْ فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ يَأْذَنُ لِهَذَا الْفَتَى مَعَنَا وَمِنْ أَبْنَائِنَا مَنْ هُوَ مِثْلُهُ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ إِنَّهُ مَنْ قَدْ عَلِمْتُمْ قَالَ فَأَذِنَ لَهُمْ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَأَذِنَ لِي مَعَهُمْ فَسَأَلَهُمْ عَنْ هَذِهِ السُّورَةِ إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ فَقَالُوا أَمَرَ نَبِيَّهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا فُتِحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَسْتَغْفِرَهُ وَيَتُوبَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ لِي مَا تَقُولُ يَا ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَيْسَتْ كَذَلِكَ وَلَكِنَّهُ أَخْبَرَ نَبِيَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاة وَالسَّلَامُ بِحُضُورِ أَجَلِهِ فَقَالَ { إِذَا جَاءَ نَصْرُ اللَّهِ وَالْفَتْحُ } فَتْحُ مَكَّةَ { وَرَأَيْتَ النَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِي دِينِ اللَّهِ أَفْوَاجًا } فَذَلِكَ عَلَامَةُ مَوْتِكَ { فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ وَاسْتَغْفِرْهُ إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابًا } فَقَالَ لَهُمْ كَيْفَ تَلُومُونِي عَلَى مَا تَرَوْنَ
Narrated to us [Husyaim] has told us [Abu Bisyr] from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibn Abbas] he said : Umar bin Al Khaththab once gave permission to the people of Badr, and he also gave me permission along with them, then some of them said : He gave permission for this young man to be with us. Which of our children is like him? Umar also said : He is one of those people whose qualities you already know. Then one day Umar gave me permission to be with them, then Umar asked them about this letter, (If Allah's help and victory has come) (QS. ALfath 1), they answered; This letter ordered the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, when he was given victory, to ask for forgiveness and repent to Him. Umar said to me; What do you think, O Ibn Abbas? I answered; Not so, but Allah informed His Prophet 'Alaihisshalatu wassalam, about the arrival of his death. Then he said : (verse) (When Allah's help and victory has come), namely the conquest of Mecca, (And you see people entering Allah's religion in droves), that is a sign of the nearness of your death, (Then glorify yourself by praising your Lord and ask Him for forgiveness. Indeed, He is the Acceptor of repentance.) So Umar said to them; How do you criticize me with your views?
