Imam Muslim : 4259و حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الصَّفَّارُ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْعَزِيزِ بْنَ صُهَيْبٍ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَيَرِدَنَّ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ رِجَالٌ مِمَّنْ صَاحَبَنِي حَتَّى إِذَا رَأَيْتُهُمْ وَرُفِعُوا إِلَيَّ اخْتُلِجُوا دُونِي فَلَأَقُولَنَّ أَيْ رَبِّ أُصَيْحَابِي أُصَيْحَابِي فَلَيُقَالَنَّ لِي إِنَّكَ لَا تَدْرِي مَا أَحْدَثُوا بَعْدَكَ و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ ح و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ جَمِيعًا عَنْ الْمُخْتَارِ بْنِ فُلْفُلٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا الْمَعْنَى وَزَادَ آنِيَتُهُ عَدَدُ النُّجُومِ
And narrated to me [Muhammad bin Hatim] Narrated to us ['Affan bin Muslim Ash Shaffar] Narrated to us [Wuhaib], he said: I heard ['Abdul 'Aziz bin Shuhaib] narrate, he said: Narrated to us [Anas bin Malik] that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: 'Some of my companions will come to my basin, until when I see them and they are shown to me, they are prevented from approaching me. So I will say: "O my Lord, they are my companions, my companions." Then it will be said to me: "Indeed, you do not know what they did after you." And narrated to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Hujr], both said: Narrated to us [Ali bin Mushir] Likewise narrated through another chain, And narrated to us [Abu Kuraib] Narrated to us [Ibnu Fudhail], all from [Al Mukhtar bin Fulful] from [Anas] from the Prophet, peace be upon him, with a similar Hadith. And he added: 'Its vessels are as numerous as the stars in the sky.'
