Imam Tirmidzi : 2465حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَسُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا الْكَوْثَرُ قَالَ ذَاكَ نَهْرٌ أَعْطَانِيهِ اللَّهُ يَعْنِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَشَدُّ بَيَاضًا مِنْ اللَّبَنِ وَأَحْلَى مِنْ الْعَسَلِ فِيهَا طَيْرٌ أَعْنَاقُهَا كَأَعْنَاقِ الْجُزُرِ قَالَ عُمَرُ إِنَّ هَذِهِ لَنَاعِمَةٌ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَكَلَتُهَا أَحْسَنُ مِنْهَاقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ هُوَ ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ الزُّهْرِيِّ وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَدْ رَوَى عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ
Narrated to us [Abd bin Humaid] has told us [Abdullah bin Maslamah] from [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Muslim] from [his father] from [Anas bin Malik] said: Once the Messenger of Allahpeace be upon him was asked: What does KAUTSAR mean? he answered: It is a river that Allah has given me, which is in heaven, its color is whiter than milk and its taste is sweeter than honey, in it there is a bird whose neck is like a camel's neck." Umar said: Indeed, this is truly a pleasure, the Messenger of Allahpeace be upon him said: I have eaten something better than it." Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan gharib, as for Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Muslim, he is the son of Ibn Syihab Az Zuhri's brother, and Abdullah bin Muslim narrated it from Ibnu Umar and Anas bin Malik.
