About the Islam Al-Haq hadith collection
This page is the entry point to the Islam Al-Haq hadith collection. It offers nine widely known hadith books, the Kutub al-Tis'ah: Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan Abu Dawud, Jami' al-Tirmidhi, Sunan al-Nasa'i, Sunan Ibn Majah, Musnad Ahmad, Muwatta' Malik and Sunan al-Darimi. All of them can be read with no account and no charge.
Each book can be opened from the list above. Every hadith is shown with its Arabic text and a translation in the language you choose, together with the name of the book and the hadith number in that book, so that it is easy to cite again. The page of a hadith also shows other narrations with the same meaning from different books as supporting reports.
You can also browse hadith by topic through the Topics menu, for example those related to prayer, fasting or manners, and search them by keyword with the search box. For reading without an internet connection, PDF files are available per book and can be opened or downloaded.
You can change the active language with the language selector at the top of the page. Indonesian, English and Arabic are the main languages of this collection; translations in other languages remain readable, but not all of them have been through the same editorial review.
The origin of the text and translations we use, together with their licences, is listed on the Sources & Attribution page, and how we compile and present the data is explained on the Methodology page. If you find a mistake in a text, a translation or a numbering, please contact us at the email address shown at the bottom of the page so that we can check and correct it promptly.
Using the site is simple. Choose a book from the list to read its hadith in numerical order, or pick a specific number if you already know the reference. To find hadith on a particular subject, type a keyword such as intention or charity in the search box, then open the most relevant result to read the full text together with its supporting narrations. The layout is designed to remain comfortable to read on both phones and computers.
