RASULULLAH'S ETHICS WHEN EXTINGUISHING

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ بْنِ قَعْنَبٍ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا ذَهَبَ الْمَذْهَبَ أَبْعَدَ
Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Maslamah bin Qa'nab al Qa'nabi], narrated to us [Abdul Aziz, namely bin Muhammad], from [Muhammad, namely bin Amru], from [Abu Salamah], from [Al Mughirah bin Syu'bah], that the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, when intending to relieve himself, would go far away.
WHEN THE Messenger of Allah defecated WITHOUT BEING SEEN

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ الْبَرَازَ انْطَلَقَ حَتَّى لَا يَرَاهُ أَحَدٌ
Narrated to us [Musaddad bin Musarhad], narrated to us [Isa bin Yunus], reported to us [Isma'il bin Abdul Malik], from [Abu az Zubair], from [Jabir bin Abdullah], that the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, when intending to relieve himself, would go where no one could see him.
THE RASULULLAH'S GUIDE TO URINATION

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شَيْخٌ قَالَلَمَّا قَدِمَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ الْبَصْرَةَ فَكَانَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى فَكَتَبَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ إِلَى أَبِي مُوسَى يَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ أَبُو مُوسَى إِنِّي كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَبُولَ فَأَتَى دَمِثًا فِي أَصْلِ جِدَارٍ فَبَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَبُولَ فَلْيَرْتَدْ لِبَوْلِهِ مَوْضِعًا
Narrated to us [Musa bin Isma'il], narrated to us [Hammad], reported to us [Abu At Tayyah], he said; Narrated to us [a Sheikh], he said; When [Abdullah bin Abbas] came to Basra, he narrated from [Abu Musa]. Abdullah wrote to Abu Musa asking about matters. Abu Musa replied, I was with the Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam one day, and he wanted to urinate. He went to a soft ground at a wall’s base, urinated, then said shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam: 'If one of you wants to urinate, let him find soft ground for it.'
PRAYER WHEN ENTERING THE TOILET

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ وَعَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْخَلَاءَ قَالَ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ وَقَالَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ قَالَ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ و قَالَ وُهَيْبٌ فَلْيَتَعَوَّذْ بِاللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو يَعْنِي السَّدُوسِيَّ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ هُوَ ابْنُ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ وَقَالَ شُعْبَةُ وَقَالَ مَرَّةً أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ
Narrated to us [Musaddad bin Musarhad], narrated to us [Hammad bin Zaid] and [Abdul Warits], from [Abdul Aziz bin Shuhaib], from [Anas], he said; When the Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam entered the toilet, he -from Hammad- said: 'O Allah, I seek refuge with You,' and -from Abdul Warits- said: 'I seek refuge with Allah from male and female devils.' Abu Dawud said; Shu'bah narrated from Abdul Aziz: 'O Allah, I seek refuge with You,' and once said: 'I seek refuge with Allah.' Wuhaib said: 'Let him seek refuge with Allah.' Narrated to us [Al Hasan bin Amru, namely As Sadusi], narrated to us [Waki'], from [Shu'bah], from [Abdul Aziz, namely Ibn Shuhaib], from [Anas] with this Hadith, saying: 'O Allah, I seek refuge with You.' Shu'bah said; Abdul Aziz once narrated: 'I seek refuge with Allah.'
READING WHEN YOU ENTER A POTION
Imam Abu Dawud : 5
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ النَّضِرِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَعَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ هَذِهِ الْحُشُوشَ مُحْتَضَرَةٌ فَإِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ الْخَلَاءَ فَلْيَقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Narrated to us [Amru bin Marzuq], reported to us [Shu'bah], from [Qatadah], from [an Nadhr bin Anas], from [Zaid bin Arqam], from the Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: 'Indeed, toilets are visited by devils. When one of you enters the toilet, let him say: I seek refuge with Allah from male and female devils.
THE RASULULLAH'S INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING DISAPPEARANCE AND ISTINJA

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَقِيلَ لَهُ لَقَدْ عَلَّمَكُمْ نَبِيُّكُمْ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى الْخِرَاءَةَ قَالَ أَجَلْ لَقَدْ نَهَانَا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِغَائِطٍ أَوْ بَوْلٍ وَأَنْ لَا نَسْتَنْجِيَ بِالْيَمِينِ وَأَنْ لَا يَسْتَنْجِيَ أَحَدُنَا بِأَقَلَّ مِنْ ثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ أَوْ نَسْتَنْجِيَ بِرَجِيعٍ أَوْ عَظْمٍ
Narrated to us [Musaddad bin Musarhad], narrated to us [Abu Mu'awiyah], from [al A'masy], from [Ibrahim], from [Abdurrahman bin Yazid], from [Salman], he said; It was said to him: 'Your Prophet taught you everything, even about relieving yourself?' He replied: 'Yes, indeed, he shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade us from facing the Qibla while defecating or urinating, from cleansing with the right hand, from cleansing with fewer than three stones, or from cleansing with dung or bones
THE PROPHET'S BEHAVIOR REGARDING DISAPPEARANCE AND ISTINJA

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّمَا أَنَا لَكُمْ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْوَالِدِ أُعَلِّمُكُمْ فَإِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ الْغَائِطَ فَلَا يَسْتَقْبِلْ الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَا يَسْتَدْبِرْهَا وَلَا يَسْتَطِبْ بِيَمِينِهِ وَكَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِثَلَاثَةِ أَحْجَارٍ وَيَنْهَى عَنْ الرَّوْثِ وَالرِّمَّةِ
Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Muhammad an Nufaili], narrated to us [Ibnul Mubarak], from [Muhammad bin Ajlan], from [al Qa'qa' bin Hakim], from [Abu Shalih], from [Abu Hurairah], he said; The Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: 'I am to you like a parent, teaching you. When one of you relieves himself, do not face or turn your back to the Qibla, nor cleanse with your right hand.' He also ordered using three stones and forbade using dung or wet bones
THE RASULULLAH'S VIEWS ON FACING THE QIBLAT

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ رِوَايَةًقَالَ إِذَا أَتَيْتُمْ الْغَائِطَ فَلَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ بِغَائِطٍ وَلَا بَوْلٍ وَلَكِنْ شَرِّقُوا أَوْ غَرِّبُوافَقَدِمْنَا الشَّامَ فَوَجَدْنَا مَرَاحِيضَ قَدْ بُنِيَتْ قِبَلَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَكُنَّا نَنْحَرِفُ عَنْهَا وَنَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ
Narrated to us [Musaddad bin Musarhad], narrated to us [Sufyan], from [az Zuhri], from ['Atha bin Yazid al Laitsi], from [Abu Ayyub], narrating from the Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: 'When you go to relieve yourself, do not face the Qibla while defecating or urinating, but face east or west.' We arrived in Sham and found toilets built facing the Qibla, so we turned away from them and sought Allah’s forgiveness."
PROHIBITION OF FACING THE QIBLA WHEN DEFENSING

حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَعِيلَ حَدَّثَنَا وُهَيْبٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي زَيْدٍ عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ أَبِي مَعْقِلٍ الْأَسَدِيِّ قَالَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ بِبَوْلٍ أَوْ غَائِطٍقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد وَأَبُو زَيْدٍ هُوَ مَوْلَى بَنِي ثَعْلَبَةَ
Narrated to us [Musa bin Isma'il], narrated to us [Wuhaib], narrated to us ['Amru bin Yahya], from [Abu Zaid], from [Abu Ma'qil Al Asadi], he said; The Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade us from facing the two Qiblas (Makkah and Jerusalem) while defecating or urinating. Abu Dawud said; Abu Zaid was a freed slave of Bani Tsa'labah."
IBNU UMAR EXCESSED WATER FACING THE Qibla IN AN OPEN PLACE

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَارِسٍ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ مَرْوَانَ الْأَصْفَرِ قَالَرَأَيْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ أَنَاخَ رَاحِلَتَهُ مُسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةِ ثُمَّ جَلَسَ يَبُولُ إِلَيْهَا فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَلَيْسَ قَدْ نُهِيَ عَنْ هَذَا قَالَ بَلَى إِنَّمَا نُهِيَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فِي الْفَضَاءِ فَإِذَا كَانَ بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ شَيْءٌ يَسْتُرُكَ فَلَا بَأْسَ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Yahya bin Faris], narrated to us [Shafwan bin Isa], from [Al Hasan bin Dzakwan], from [Marwan Al Ashfar], he said; I saw [Ibnu Umar] make his camel kneel facing the Qibla, then sit and urinate toward it. I said: 'O Abu Abdurrahman, isn’t this forbidden?' He replied: 'Yes, but it’s forbidden in open spaces. If something shields you from the Qibla, it’s fine.
THE RASULULLAH defecated in front of the BAITUL MAQDIS

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَلَقَدْ ارْتَقَيْتُ عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْبَيْتِ فَرَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى لَبِنَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ لِحَاجَتِهِ
Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Maslamah], from [Malik], from [Yahya bin Sa'id], from [Muhammad bin Yahya bin Habban], from [his uncle, Wasi' bin Habban], from [Abdullah bin Umar], he said; I climbed onto a house’s roof and saw the Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam on two bricks, facing Jerusalem while relieving himself."
CHANGES IN THE HABITS OF THE PROPHET TOWARD THE QIBLAT

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ إِسْحَقَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَنَهَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ بِبَوْلٍ فَرَأَيْتُهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْبَضَ بِعَامٍ يَسْتَقْبِلُهَا
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Basysyar], narrated to us [Wahb bin Jarir], narrated to us [my father], he said; I heard [Muhammad bin Ishaq] narrate from [Aban bin Shalih], from [Mujahid], from [Jabir bin Abdullah], he said; The Prophet of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade us from facing the Qibla while urinating, but I saw him a year before his passing urinating facing it."
HOW THE RASULULLAH DEALED DEFEATING

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ حَاجَةً لَا يَرْفَعُ ثَوْبَهُ حَتَّى يَدْنُوَ مِنْ الْأَرْضِقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بْنُ حَرْبٍ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى الرَّمْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ السَّلَامِ بِهِ
Narrated to us [Zuhair bin Harb], narrated to us [Waki'], from [Al A'masy], from [a man], from [Ibnu Umar], that the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, when intending to relieve himself, did not lift his garment until he was close to the ground. Abu Dawud said; Narrated by [Abdussalam bin Harb], from [Al A'masy], from [Anas bin Malik], but he is weak. Abu Isa Ar Ramli said; Narrated to us [Ahmad bin Al Walid], narrated to us [Amru bin 'Aun], reported to us [Abdussalam] with this Hadith."
PROHIBITION OF TALKING IN SEX PLACES

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ قَالَسَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ لَا يَخْرُجْ الرَّجُلَانِ يَضْرِبَانِ الْغَائِطَ كَاشِفَيْنِ عَنْ عَوْرَتِهِمَا يَتَحَدَّثَانِ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَمْقُتُ عَلَى ذَلِكَقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد هَذَا لَمْ يُسْنِدْهُ إِلَّا عِكْرِمَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ
Narrated to us [Ubaidullah bin Umar bin Maisarah], narrated to us [Ibnu Mahdi], narrated to us [Ikrimah bin Ammar], from [Yahya bin Abu Katsir], from [Hilal bin 'Iyadh], he said; Narrated to me [Abu Sa'id], he said; I heard the Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam say: 'Two men should not go to relieve themselves exposing their private parts and talking, for Allah azza wajalla detests that.' Abu Dawud said; This was only narrated by Ikrimah bin Ammar."
RESPONDING TO GREETINGS WHEN URINATING

حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ وَأَبُو بَكْرِ ابْنَا أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَمَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَبُولُ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد وَرُوِيَ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَغَيْرِهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَيَمَّمَ ثُمَّ رَدَّ عَلَى الرَّجُلِ السَّلَامَ
Narrated to us [Utsman] and [Abu Bakar], sons of Abu Syaibah, they said; Narrated to us [Umar bin Sa'd], from [Sufyan], from [Adh Dhahhak bin Utsman], from [Nafi'], from [Ibnu Umar], he said; A man passed by the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam while he was urinating and greeted him, but he did not respond. Abu Dawud said; Narrated from Ibnu Umar and others, that the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam performed tayammum, then responded to the man’s greeting."

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ حُضَيْنِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ أَبِي سَاسَانَ عَنْ الْمُهَاجِرِ بْنِ قُنْفُذٍ أَنَّهُأَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَبُولُ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى تَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ اعْتَذَرَ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي كَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَذْكُرَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَّا عَلَى طُهْرٍ أَوْ قَالَ عَلَى طَهَارَةٍ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin al Mutsanna], narrated to us [Abdul A'la], narrated to us [Sa'id], from [Qatadah], from [Al Hasan], from [Hudhain bin Al Mundzir Abi Sasan], from [Al Muhajir bin Qunfudz], that he approached the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam while he was urinating and greeted him, but he did not respond until he performed wudu, then apologized, saying: 'I dislike mentioning Allah’s name azza wajalla except in a state of purity.'"
THE RASULULLAH ALWAYS PRAYED TO ALLAH

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ يَعْنِي الْفَأْفَاءَ عَنْ الْبَهِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى كُلِّ أَحْيَانِهِ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Al 'Ala], narrated to us [Ibnu Abi Za`idah], from [his father], from [Khalid bin Salamah, namely Al Fa`fa], from [Al Bahiy], from ['Urwah], from [Aisyah], she said; The Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam always remembered Allah azza wajalla in all his conditions."
THE PROPHET REMOVES THE RING BEFORE ENTERING THE WC

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أَبِي عَلِيٍّ الْحَنَفِيِّ عَنْ هَمَّامٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا دَخَلَ الْخَلَاءَ وَضَعَ خَاتَمَهُقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد هَذَا حَدِيثٌ مُنْكَرٌ وَإِنَّمَا يُعْرَفُ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اتَّخَذَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ ثُمَّ أَلْقَاهُ وَالْوَهْمُ فِيهِ مِنْ هَمَّامٍ وَلَمْ يَرْوِهِ إِلَّا هَمَّامٌ
Narrated to us [Nashr bin Ali], from [Abu Ali Al Hanafi], from [Hammam], from [Ibnu Juraij], from [Az Zuhri], from [Anas], he said; The Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, when entering the toilet, removed his ring. Abu Dawud said; This is a munkar Hadith. It is known from [Ibnu Juraij], from [Ziyad bin Sa'ad], from [Az Zuhri], from [Anas], that the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam wore a silver ring and then discarded it. The error is from Hammam, and only he narrated this."
THE TORMENT OF THE GRAVE FOR NOT BEING PURE AND SETTING UP AGAINST OTHERS

حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَهَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُجَاهِدًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَمَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى قَبْرَيْنِ فَقَالَ إِنَّهُمَا يُعَذَّبَانِ وَمَا يُعَذَّبَانِ فِي كَبِيرٍ أَمَّا هَذَا فَكَانَ لَا يَسْتَنْزِهُ مِنْ الْبَوْلِ وَأَمَّا هَذَا فَكَانَ يَمْشِي بِالنَّمِيمَةِ ثُمَّ دَعَا بِعَسِيبٍ رَطْبٍ فَشَقَّهُ بِاثْنَيْنِ ثُمَّ غَرَسَ عَلَى هَذَا وَاحِدًا وَعَلَى هَذَا وَاحِدًا وَقَالَ لَعَلَّهُ يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمَا مَا لَمْ يَيْبَسَا قَالَ هَنَّادٌ يَسْتَتِرُ مَكَانَ يَسْتَنْزِهُحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ كَانَ لَا يَسْتَتِرُ مِنْ بَوْلِهِ وَقَالَ أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ يَسْتَنْزِهُ
Narrated to us [Zuhair bin Harb] and [Hannad bin As Sari], they said; Narrated to us [Waki'], narrated to us [Al A'masy], he said; I heard [Mujahid] narrate from [Thawus], from [Ibnu Abbas], he said; The Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam passed by two graves and said: 'They are being punished, but not for a major sin. This one did not cleanse himself from urine, and this one spread slander.' He called for a wet palm branch, split it in two, planted one on each grave, and said: 'May it lighten their punishment as long as they remain moist.' Hannad narrated ‘yastatir’ instead of ‘yastanzih.’ Narrated to us [Utsman bin Abu Syaibah], narrated to us [Jarir], from [Manshur], from [Mujahid], from [Ibnu Abbas], from the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, with similar meaning, saying: 'He did not shield himself from urine,' while Abu Mu'awiyah said: 'He did not cleanse.'"
USING A SHIELD AS A PROTECTIVE
Imam Abu Dawud : 20
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَسَنَةَ قَالَانْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْعَاصِ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَجَ وَمَعَهُ دَرَقَةٌ ثُمَّ اسْتَتَرَ بِهَا ثُمَّ بَالَ فَقُلْنَا انْظُرُوا إِلَيْهِ يَبُولُ كَمَا تَبُولُ الْمَرْأَةُ فَسَمِعَ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُوا مَا لَقِيَ صَاحِبُ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَانُوا إِذَا أَصَابَهُمْ الْبَوْلُ قَطَعُوا مَا أَصَابَهُ الْبَوْلُ مِنْهُمْ فَنَهَاهُمْ فَعُذِّبَ فِي قَبْرِهِقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد قَالَ مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ جِلْدِ أَحَدِهِمْ و قَالَ عَاصِمٌ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ جَسَدِ أَحَدِهِمْ
Narrated to us [Musaddad], narrated to us [Abdulwahid bin Ziyad], narrated to us [Al A'masy], from [Zaid bin Wahb], from [Abdurrahman bin Hasanah], he said; I went with Amru bin Al Ash to the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam. He came out with a shield, covered himself with it, and urinated. We said: 'Look, he urinates like a woman.' He heard and said: 'Do you not know what happened to a man of Bani Israil? If urine touched them, they cut off the affected part. He forbade them, so he was punished in his grave.' Abu Dawud said; Manshur said from [Abu Wa`il], from [Abu Musa], regarding this Hadith, mentioning: 'The skin of one of them.' Asim said from [Abu Wa`il], from [Abu Musa], from the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, saying: 'The body of one of them.'"
