حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَرَفَعُوا أَصْوَاتَهُمْ بِالدُّعَاءِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّكُمْ لَا تَدْعُونَ أَصَمَّ وَلَا غَائِبًا إِنَّكُمْ تَدْعُونَ قَرِيبًا مُجِيبًا يَسْمَعُ دُعَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَجِيبُ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ قَيْسٍ أَوْ يَا أَبَا مُوسَى أَلَا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى كَنْزٍ مِنْ كُنُوزِ الْجَنَّةِ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] Narrated to us [Syu'bah] from [Ashim] from [Abu Utsman] from [Abu Musa] that they were once with the Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him in a journey. Then they raised the voice when praying. So the Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him said: "Verily, you all are not praying to a Lord who is deaf and absent. Verily you are praying to the Essence who is Most near, Most answering of prayer, Who hears and answers your prayer." then he said: "O Abdullah bin Qais or O Abu Musa, shall I show you one treasure from the treasures of paradise? Namely, 'LAA HAULA WALAA QUWWATA ILLAA BILLAH (There is no power and no strength except from Allah).'
