حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَكَرَ الطَّاعُونَ فَقَالَ بَقِيَّةُ رِجْزٍ أَوْ عَذَابٍ أُرْسِلَ عَلَى طَائِفَةٍ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ فَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَخْرُجُوا مِنْهَا وَإِذَا وَقَعَ بِأَرْضٍ وَلَسْتُمْ بِهَا فَلَا تَهْبِطُوا عَلَيْهَاقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ سَعْدٍ وَخُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ وَجَابِرٍ وَعَائِشَةَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
Narrated to us [Qutaibah] from [Hammam bin Zaid] from ['Amr bin Dinar] from ['Amir bin Sa'ad] from [Usamah bin Zaid] that the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him mentioned about plague, he said: '(Tha'un is) remnants of abomination or punishment sent to a group of the Children of Israel. If you are in a place and there is the plague, then do not leave it. If it occurs in an area, and you are not in it, then do not enter it.' (Abu Isa At Tirmidzi) said; 'A similar hadith is narrated from Sa'ad, Khuzaimah bin Tsabit, Abdurrahman bin Auf, Jabir and Aisyah.' Abu Isa said; 'The hadith of Usamah bin Zaid is a hasan sahih hadith.'"
