حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ حَدَّثَنَا الْبَرَاءُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْغَنَوِيَّ عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ عَلَى مِنْبَرِ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ فِي دُبُرِ صَلَاتِهِ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ يَقُولُ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ الْفِتَنِ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَأَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْأَعْوَرِ الْكَذَّابِ
Narrated to us [Yunus] has told us [Al Barra`] namely Ibn Abdullah Al Ghanawi, from [Abu Nadlrah] said : [Ibn Abbas] once stood on the pulpit of the people of Basrah, I heard him say : "Indeed, Nabiyullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam always asked for protection from four things at the end of the prayer, he said: "A'UDZU BILLAHI MIN 'ADZABIL QABRI WA A'UDZU BILLAHI MIN 'ADZABIN NARI WA A'UDZU BILLAHI MINAL FITANI MA ZHAHARA MINHA WAMA BATHANA WA A'UDZU BILLAHI MIN FITNATI A'WAR AL KADZAB (I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave, I seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of Hell, I seek refuge in Allah from all visible and hidden slander and I seek refuge in Allah from the slander of those who are blind and liars (Dajjal)).
