Nabi mengharamkan madu, akhirnya turun ayat: Wahai Nabi, mengapa kamu mengharamkan apa yang Allah halalkan bagimu?
Imam Bukhari : 4862حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَبَّاحٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ زَعَمَ عَطَاءٌ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ عُمَيْرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَاأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَمْكُثُ عِنْدَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ وَيَشْرَبُ عِنْدَهَا عَسَلًا فَتَوَاصَيْتُ أَنَا وَحَفْصَةُ أَنَّ أَيَّتَنَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلْتَقُلْ إِنِّي أَجِدُ مِنْكَ رِيحَ مَغَافِيرَ أَكَلْتَ مَغَافِيرَ فَدَخَلَ عَلَى إِحْدَاهُمَا فَقَالَتْ لَهُ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ لَا بَلْ شَرِبْتُ عَسَلًا عِنْدَ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ وَلَنْ أَعُودَ لَهُ فَنَزَلَتْ{ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ لِمَ تُحَرِّمُ مَا أَحَلَّ اللَّهُ لَكَ إِلَى إِنْ تَتُوبَا إِلَى اللَّهِ }لِعَائِشَةَ وَحَفْصَةَ{ وَإِذْ أَسَرَّ النَّبِيُّ إِلَى بَعْضِ أَزْوَاجِهِ }لِقَوْلِهِ بَلْ شَرِبْتُ عَسَلًا
Narrated to me Al-Hasan bin Muhammad bin Sabbah, narrated to us Hajjaj from Ibn Juraij, he said: Ata' claimed that he heard Ubaid bin Umair say: I heard Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) say: The Prophet peace be upon him stayed at Zainab bint Jahsh's place and drank honey there. So I and Hafsah agreed that whichever of us the Prophet peace be upon him visited should say, "I smell maghafir from you. Have you eaten maghafir?" He visited one of them, and she said that to him. He said, "No, I drank honey at Zainab bint Jahsh's place, and I will not do it again." Then the verse was revealed: "O Prophet, why do you forbid what Allah has made lawful for you..." up to "If you two repent to Allah" for Aishah and Hafsah, and "When the Prophet confided to one of his wives" regarding his saying, "I only drank honey.
