Imam Ahmad : 17254حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ شَيْخٍ سَمَّاهُ عَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ النَّحَّامِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُؤَذِّنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ بَارِدَةٍ وَأَنَا فِي لِحَافِي فَتَمَنَّيْتُ أَنْ يَقُولَ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ حَيَّ عَلَى الْفَلَاحِ قَالَ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ ثُمَّ سَأَلْتُ عَنْهَا فَإِذَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ أَمَرَهُ بِذَلِكَ
[Abdurrazaq] narrated to us [Ma'mar] from [Ubaidullah bin Umar] from [a sheikh whom he named] from [Nu'aim bin Nahham] who said, "I heard the muezzin of the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him calling the adhan on a very cold night, while I was wearing my blanket. So I was hoping that he would call 'Pray in your houses'. And when he reached the words HAYYA 'ALAL FALAAH (Come to victory), he called 'Pray in your houses'. Then I asked him about it and it turned out that the Prophet had ordered him to do so.
