أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أُمِّ حَرَامٍ بِنْتِ مِلْحَانَ قَالَتْأَتَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ عِنْدَنَا فَاسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ يَضْحَكُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ بِأَبِي وَأُمِّي مَا أَضْحَكَكَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ قَوْمًا مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَرْكَبُونَ هَذَا الْبَحْرَ كَالْمُلُوكِ عَلَى الْأَسِرَّةِ قُلْتُ ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ قَالَ فَإِنَّكِ مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ نَامَ ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ يَضْحَكُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ يَعْنِي مِثْلَ مَقَالَتِهِ قُلْتُ ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ قَالَ أَنْتِ مِنْ الْأَوَّلِينَ فَتَزَوَّجَهَا عُبَادَةُ بْنُ الصَّامِتِ فَرَكِبَ الْبَحْرَ وَرَكِبَتْ مَعَهُ فَلَمَّا خَرَجَتْ قُدِّمَتْ لَهَا بَغْلَةٌ فَرَكِبَتْهَا فَصَرَعَتْهَا فَانْدَقَّتْ عُنُقُهَا
Narrated to us [Yahya bin Habib bin 'Arabi], he said : has told us [Hammad] from [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Muhammad bin Yahya bin Habban] from [Anas bin Malik] from [Umm Haran bint Milhan], he said : Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam came to us and took a nap at our place, then he woke up laughing, then I said : O Messenger of Allah, with my father and mother. What causes you to laugh? He answered: "I dreamed of seeing a people from my people, they were sailing this sea like kings on beds." So I said : pray to Allah to make me one of them. He said: "You are one of them." Then he slept, then woke up and laughed. Then I asked him; then he said as he had said before. So I say; pray to Allah to make me one of them. He said: "You are among the first." Then Umm Haran married 'Ubadah bin Shamit, then he sailed the sea, and Umm Haran sailed with him. When he came out, he was given a Bighal, so he mounted it, but fell and broke his neck.
