Narrated to us [Qutaibah] has told us [Al Laits] from [Khalid bin Yazid] from [Sa'id bin Abu Hilal] that [Jabir bin Abdullah Al Ansari] said : "One day, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam came out to meet us, he said: "Indeed, I dreamed as if Gabriel was at the side of my head, while Mika'il was at the side of my feet, one of the two said to the other; "Make a parable for him," he said : "Listen, your ears will surely hear and understand, your hearts will surely understand. Your example with your people is like a king who wants to build a palace and build a house in it. After building the house, he prepares a banquet in the house and then he sends a messenger to invite the people to attend his banquet. Some of them accept the invitation of the messenger and some of them leave it. Allah is the king, the palace is Islam, the house is Paradise and you, O Muhammad, are its messenger. Whoever accepts your invitation has entered Islam, and whoever enters Islam will enter Paradise and whoever enters Paradise will eat what is in it." This hadith has been narrated from several sources from the Prophet peace be upon him with a chain of transmission that is stronger than the chain of transmission of this hadith. Abu Isa said : This hadith is mursal, because Sa'id bin Abu Hilal did not meet Jabir bin Abdullah. And in this chapter, there is also a hadith from Ibn Mas'ud.
