حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ ح و حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَهَذَا لَفْظُ هَنَّادٍ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ زَاذَانَ عَنْ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ قَالَخَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي جَنَازَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ فَانْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى الْقَبْرِ وَلَمَّا يُلْحَدْ فَجَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَجَلَسْنَا حَوْلَهُ كَأَنَّمَا عَلَى رُءُوسِنَا الطَّيْرُ وَفِي يَدِهِ عُودٌ يَنْكُتُ بِهِ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ هَاهُنَا وَقَالَ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَسْمَعُ خَفْقَ نِعَالِهِمْ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ حِينَ يُقَالُ لَهُ يَا هَذَا مَنْ رَبُّكَ وَمَا دِينُكَ وَمَنْ نَبِيُّكَ قَالَ هَنَّادٌ قَالَ وَيَأْتِيهِ مَلَكَانِ فَيُجْلِسَانِهِ فَيَقُولَانِ لَهُ مَنْ رَبُّكَ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّيَ اللَّهُ فَيَقُولَانِ لَهُ مَا دِينُكَ فَيَقُولُ دِينِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ فَيَقُولَانِ لَهُ مَا هَذَا الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي بُعِثَ فِيكُمْ قَالَ فَيَقُولُ هُوَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَيَقُولَانِ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ فَيَقُولُ قَرَأْتُ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ فَآمَنْتُ بِهِ وَصَدَّقْتُ زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ{ يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا }الْآيَةُ ثُمَّ اتَّفَقَا قَالَ فَيُنَادِي مُنَادٍ مِنْ السَّمَاءِ أَنْ قَدْ صَدَقَ عَبْدِي فَأَفْرِشُوهُ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ وَافْتَحُوا لَهُ بَابًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَأَلْبِسُوهُ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ فَيَأْتِيهِ مِنْ رَوْحِهَا وَطِيبِهَا قَالَ وَيُفْتَحُ لَهُ فِيهَا مَدَّ بَصَرِهِ قَالَ وَإِنَّ الْكَافِرَ فَذَكَرَ مَوْتَهُ قَالَ وَتُعَادُ رُوحُهُ فِي جَسَدِهِ وَيَأْتِيهِ مَلَكَانِ فَيُجْلِسَانِهِ فَيَقُولَانِ لَهُ مَنْ رَبُّكَ فَيَقُولُ هَاهْ هَاهْ هَاهْ لَا أَدْرِي فَيَقُولَانِ لَهُ مَا دِينُكَ فَيَقُولُ هَاهْ هَاهْ لَا أَدْرِي فَيَقُولَانِ مَا هَذَا الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي بُعِثَ فِيكُمْ فَيَقُولُ هَاهْ هَاهْ لَا أَدْرِي فَيُنَادِي مُنَادٍ مِنْ السَّمَاءِ أَنْ كَذَبَ فَأَفْرِشُوهُ مِنْ النَّارِ وَأَلْبِسُوهُ مِنْ النَّارِ وَافْتَحُوا لَهُ بَابًا إِلَى النَّارِ قَالَ فَيَأْتِيهِ مِنْ حَرِّهَا وَسَمُومِهَا قَالَ وَيُضَيَّقُ عَلَيْهِ قَبْرُهُ حَتَّى تَخْتَلِفَ فِيهِ أَضْلَاعُهُ زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ ثُمَّ يُقَيَّضُ لَهُ أَعْمَى أَبْكَمُ مَعَهُ مِرْزَبَّةٌ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ لَوْ ضُرِبَ بِهَا جَبَلٌ لَصَارَ تُرَابًا قَالَ فَيَضْرِبُهُ بِهَا ضَرْبَةً يَسْمَعُهَا مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ إِلَّا الثَّقَلَيْنِ فَيَصِيرُ تُرَابًا قَالَ ثُمَّ تُعَادُ فِيهِ الرُّوحُحَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ حَدَّثَنَا الْمِنْهَالُ عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ زَاذَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْبَرَاءَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ

Narrated to us Utsman bin Abu Syaibah said, narrated to us Jarir. (In another chain mentioned) Narrated to us Hannad As Sari said, narrated to us Abu Mu'awiyah - and this is the wording of Hannad- from Al A'masy from Al Minhal from Zadzan from Al Bara bin Azib he said, We went out with the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him to attend the funeral of an Ansar man, we then arrived at the burial place. When the lahad hole had been made, the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him sat, then we sat around him. We were silent, as if birds were on our heads. At that time he held a stick which he poked into the ground, he then raised his head and said: Seek refuge in Allah from the punishment of the grave. He said that sentence two or three times. Such is the addition in the hadith of Jarir. He continued: Indeed, the corpse will hear the footsteps of their sandals when they go home that is when asked to him, O you, who is your Lord? What is your religion? And who is your Prophet? -Hannad mentioned He said: - then two angels come to him as if seating him. The angel asks, Who is your Lord? He answers, My Lord is Allah. The angel asks again, What is your religion? He answers, My religion is Islam. The angel asks again, Who is the man sent to you? He answers, He is the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him. The angel asks again, What do you know? He answers, I read the Book of Allah, I believe in it and confirm it. In the hadith of Jarir added, Then this is the meaning of Allah's word: (Allah keeps firm those who believe…) to the end of the verse. -Qs. Ibrahim: 27- then both narrators agreed on the wording, He said: Then there is a call from the sky calling, True is what My servant said, spread for him a carpet in Paradise, open for him the doors of Paradise and give him clothing of Paradise. He continued: Then brought to him the fragrance of Paradise, then his grave is expanded as far as the eye can see. He continued: If the deceased is a disbeliever, then his soul is returned to his body. At that time two angels come as if seating him. The two angels ask, Who is your Lord? He answers, Hah, hah, hah. I don't know. The angel asks, What is your religion? He answers, Hah, hah. I don't know. The angel asks again, Who is the man sent to you? He answers, Hah, hah. I don't know. After that, a voice from the sky is heard: He has lied. Give him a carpet from Hell, give him clothing from Hell, and open the doors of Hell for him. He continued: Then brought to him the heat and smell of Hell. Then his grave is narrowed until his bones overlap. In the hadith of Jarir added, He said: Then he is shackled in a blind and mute state. And for him is prepared a striker from iron, if that striker is struck on a mountain surely it will become dust. He continued: The disbelieving man is then struck with that striker until his voice can be heard by all creatures from the east end to the west end -except jinn and humans- until he becomes dust. He continued his story: After that, his soul is returned again. Narrated to us Hannad bin As Sari said, narrated to us Abdullah bin Numair said, narrated to us Al A'masy said, narrated to us Al Minhal from Abu Umar Zadzan he said I heard Al Bara from the Prophet peace be upon him, he said…. then he mentioned like that hadith.
