حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو غَسَّانَ الْمِسْمَعِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ وَاللَّفْظُ لِأَبِي غَسَّانَ وَابْنِ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ الْمُجَاشِعِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ أَلَا إِنَّ رَبِّي أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُعَلِّمَكُمْ مَا جَهِلْتُمْ مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِي يَوْمِي هَذَا كُلُّ مَالٍ نَحَلْتُهُ عَبْدًا حَلَالٌ وَإِنِّي خَلَقْتُ عِبَادِي حُنَفَاءَ كُلَّهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمْ أَتَتْهُمْ الشَّيَاطِينُ فَاجْتَالَتْهُمْ عَنْ دِينِهِمْ وَحَرَّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ مَا أَحْلَلْتُ لَهُمْ وَأَمَرَتْهُمْ أَنْ يُشْرِكُوا بِي مَا لَمْ أُنْزِلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ نَظَرَ إِلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ فَمَقَتَهُمْ عَرَبَهُمْ وَعَجَمَهُمْ إِلَّا بَقَايَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ وَقَالَ إِنَّمَا بَعَثْتُكَ لِأَبْتَلِيَكَ وَأَبْتَلِيَ بِكَ وَأَنْزَلْتُ عَلَيْكَ كِتَابًا لَا يَغْسِلُهُ الْمَاءُ تَقْرَؤُهُ نَائِمًا وَيَقْظَانَ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُحَرِّقَ قُرَيْشًا فَقُلْتُ رَبِّ إِذًا يَثْلَغُوا رَأْسِي فَيَدَعُوهُ خُبْزَةً قَالَ اسْتَخْرِجْهُمْ كَمَا اسْتَخْرَجُوكَ وَاغْزُهُمْ نُغْزِكَ وَأَنْفِقْ فَسَنُنْفِقَ عَلَيْكَ وَابْعَثْ جَيْشًا نَبْعَثْ خَمْسَةً مِثْلَهُ وَقَاتِلْ بِمَنْ أَطَاعَكَ مَنْ عَصَاكَ قَالَ وَأَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ ثَلَاثَةٌ ذُو سُلْطَانٍ مُقْسِطٌ مُتَصَدِّقٌ مُوَفَّقٌ وَرَجُلٌ رَحِيمٌ رَقِيقُ الْقَلْبِ لِكُلِّ ذِي قُرْبَى وَمُسْلِمٍ وَعَفِيفٌ مُتَعَفِّفٌ ذُو عِيَالٍ قَالَ وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ خَمْسَةٌ الضَّعِيفُ الَّذِي لَا زَبْرَ لَهُ الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِيكُمْ تَبَعًا لَا يَبْتَغُونَ أَهْلًا وَلَا مَالًا وَالْخَائِنُ الَّذِي لَا يَخْفَى لَهُ طَمَعٌ وَإِنْ دَقَّ إِلَّا خَانَهُ وَرَجُلٌ لَا يُصْبِحُ وَلَا يُمْسِي إِلَّا وَهُوَ يُخَادِعُكَ عَنْ أَهْلِكَ وَمَالِكَ وَذَكَرَ الْبُخْلَ أَوْ الْكَذِبَ وَالشِّنْظِيرُ الْفَحَّاشُ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَبُو غَسَّانَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَأَنْفِقْ فَسَنُنْفِقَ عَلَيْكَ و حَدَّثَنَاه مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى الْعَنَزِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي حَدِيثِهِ كُلُّ مَالٍ نَحَلْتُهُ عَبْدًا حَلَالٌ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ صَاحِبِ الدَّسْتَوَائِيِّ حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَطَبَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ قَالَ يَحْيَى قَالَ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُطَرِّفًا فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ و حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عَمَّارٍ حُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مَطَرٍ حَدَّثَنِي قَتَادَةُ عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ أَخِي بَنِي مُجَاشِعٍ قَالَ قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ خَطِيبًا فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَنِي وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ هِشَامٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ وَزَادَ فِيهِ وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَوْحَى إِلَيَّ أَنْ تَوَاضَعُوا حَتَّى لَا يَفْخَرَ أَحَدٌ عَلَى أَحَدٍ وَلَا يَبْغِ أَحَدٌ عَلَى أَحَدٍ وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَهُمْ فِيكُمْ تَبَعًا لَا يَبْغُونَ أَهْلًا وَلَا مَالًا فَقُلْتُ فَيَكُونُ ذَلِكَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ أَدْرَكْتُهُمْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَرْعَى عَلَى الْحَيِّ مَا بِهِ إِلَّا وَلِيدَتُهُمْ يَطَؤُهَا

Narrated to me [Abu Ghassan Al Misma'i], [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna], and [Muhammad bin Basyar bin Utsman], text of Ghassan and Ibnu Al Mutsanna, both said: Narrated to us [Mu'adz bin Hisyam], narrated to me [my father], from [Qatadah], from [Mutharrif bin Abdullah bin Asy Syakhir], from [Iyadh bin Himar Al Mujasyi'i], the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said one day in his sermon: "Indeed, my Lord commanded me to teach you what you do not know, which He taught me today: 'All wealth I have given to a servant is lawful. I created My servants upright, but devils came to them, diverting them from their religion, forbidding what I made lawful, and commanding them to associate with Me what I did not authorize.' Indeed, Allah looked at the people of the earth and despised them, Arab and non-Arab, except remnants of the People of the Book. He said: 'I send you to test you and test others through you. I revealed to you a Book untouched by water, which you read while asleep or awake.' Indeed, Allah commanded me to burn the Quraysh, and I said: 'O Lord, they would crush my head, leaving it to rot.' He said: 'Expel them as they expelled you, fight them, and We will aid you spend, and We will replace it send an army, and We will send five times as much fight those who disobey you with those who obey you.' He continued: 'The people of Paradise are three: a just ruler who gives charity and helps, a merciful person soft-hearted toward every relative and Muslim, and a chaste person with dependents.' He continued: 'The people of Hell are five: the weak with no strength, your followers among you who seek neither family nor wealth the betrayer whose greed is never hidden, even if subtle, he surely betrays and the one who deceives you morning and evening regarding your family and wealth.' He mentioned stinginess, lying, and bad character. Abu Ghassan in his hadith did not mention: Spend, and I will replace. Narrated to me [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna Al Anazi], narrated to us [Muhammad bin Abu Adi], from [Sa'id], from [Qatadah], with this chain in his hadith, he did not mention: "All wealth I have given to a servant is lawful." Narrated to me [Abdurrahman bin Bisyr Al Abdi], narrated to us [Yahya bin Sa'id], from [Hisyam], friend of Ad Dastuwa'i, narrated to us [Qatadah], from [Mutharrif], from [Iyadh bin Himar], one day the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, delivered a sermon, mentioning the hadith, and at the end, he mentioned: Yahya said: Syu'bah said: From Qatadah, who said: I heard Mutharrif in this hadith. Narrated to me [Abu Ammar Husain bin Huraits], narrated to us [Al Fadhl bin Musa], from [Al Husain], from [Mathar], narrated to me [Qatadah], from [Mutharrif bin Abdullah bin Asy Syakhir], from [Iyadh bin Himar] of Bani Mujasyi', who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stood delivering a sermon one day among us and said: "Indeed, Allah commanded me," mentioning the hadith like Hisyam from Qatadah, adding in his hadith: "And Allah revealed to me that you should humble yourselves so no one boasts over another or oppresses another." He (Iyadh) mentioned in his hadith: And they are your followers among you, seeking neither family nor wealth. I asked: Is that so, O Abu Abdullah? He replied: Yes, by Allah, I met them in the time of ignorance a man herded in a village with only his female slave, and he was intimate with her.
