أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ قَرَأْتُ عَلَى أَبِي قُرَّةَ هُوَ مُوسَى بْنُ طَارِقٍ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ رَجَعَ مِنْ عُمْرَةِ الْجِعْرَانَةِ بَعَثَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ عَلَى الْحَجِّ فَأَقْبَلْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِالْعَرْجِ ثُوِّبَ بِالصُّبْحِ فَلَمَّا اسْتَوَى لِيُكَبِّرَ سَمِعَ الرَّغْوَةَ خَلْفَ ظَهْرِهِ فَوَقَفَ عَنْ التَّكْبِيرِ فَقَالَ هَذِهِ رَغْوَةُ نَاقَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجَدْعَاءِ لَقَدْ بَدَا لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْحَجِّ فَلَعَلَّهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَنُصَلِّيَ مَعَهُ فَإِذَا عَلِيٌّ عَلَيْهَا فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَمِيرٌ أَمْ رَسُولٌ قَالَ لَا بَلْ رَسُولٌ أَرْسَلَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِبَرَاءَةٌ أَقْرَؤُهَا عَلَى النَّاسِ فِي مَوَاقِفِ الْحَجِّ فَقَدِمْنَا مَكَّةَ فَلَمَّا كَانَ قَبْلَ التَّرْوِيَةِ بِيَوْمٍ قَامَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَحَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ مَنَاسِكِهِمْ حَتَّى إِذَا فَرَغَ قَامَ عَلِيٌّ فَقَرَأَ عَلَى النَّاسِ بَرَاءَةٌ حَتَّى خَتَمَهَا ثُمَّ خَرَجْنَا مَعَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ قَامَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَحَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ مَنَاسِكِهِمْ حَتَّى إِذَا فَرَغَ قَامَ عَلِيٌّ فَقَرَأَ عَلَى النَّاسِ بَرَاءَةٌ حَتَّى خَتَمَهَا ثُمَّ كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّحْرِ فَأَفَضْنَا فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ خَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَحَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ إِفَاضَتِهِمْ وَعَنْ نَحْرِهِمْ وَعَنْ مَنَاسِكِهِمْ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَامَ عَلِيٌّ فَقَرَأَ عَلَى النَّاسِ بَرَاءَةٌ حَتَّى خَتَمَهَا فَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ النَّفْرِ الْأَوَّلُ قَامَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ فَحَدَّثَهُمْ كَيْفَ يَنْفِرُونَ وَكَيْفَ يَرْمُونَ فَعَلَّمَهُمْ مَنَاسِكَهُمْ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ قَامَ عَلِيٌّ فَقَرَأَ بَرَاءَةٌ عَلَى النَّاسِ حَتَّى خَتَمَهَا

Narrated to us [Ishaq bin Ibrahim], he said:I read to [Abu Qurrah, namely Musa bin Tariq], from [Ibn Juraij], he said:Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Uthman bin Khutsaim] from [Abu Az Zubair] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] that when the Prophet Peace be upon him returned from the Ji'ranah Umrah, he sent Abu Bakr to lead the Hajj, then we went with Abu Bakr, until we arrived at Al 'Arj, someone shouted the Fajr call to prayer, when Abu Bakr stood up to make the takbir, he heard the sound of camels coming from the direction behind him until he stopped his takbir, he said:"This is the sound of the camel of The messenger of AllahPeace be upon him named Al Jad'a`, apparently The messenger of AllahPeace be upon him is about to perform the Hajj, hopefully he is The messenger of AllahPeace be upon him so we can pray with him." It turned out that the person on the camel was Ali, Abu Bakr said to him; "Are you the leader (of the Hajj) or just a messenger? He replied; "No, in fact I am just a messenger. The messenger of AllahPeace be upon him has sent me to bring the Bara`ah letter which I will read in front of people at several Hajj stops." When we arrived in Mecca, namely the day before Tarwiyah (eighth of Dzulhijjah), Abu Bakr May Allah be pleased with him stood up and gave a sermon in front of the people, he talked about the rituals of Hajj, after Abu Bakr delivered his sermon, Ali Peace be upon him stood up and read the Taubah letter until it was finished. After that we left again with Abu Bakr, on the day of 'Arafah, Abu Bakr gave a sermon in front of the people and conveyed the rituals of their Hajj, after Abu Bakr gave the sermon, Ali stood up and read the Bara'ah letter until it was finished. their slaughter and rituals, After the sermon, Ali stood up and read the letter Al Bara'ah until the end. When the day of the initial nafar (returning from Mina to Mecca in the first wave) arrived, Abu Bakr returned to preaching in front of the people, and told them about how they should return (to Mecca), and how they threw the Jumrah, and chased them about their Hajj rituals, after the sermon, Ali stood up to read the letter of Taubah in front of the people until it was finished.
