حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ بِتُّ فِي بَيْتِ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ فَبَقَيْتُ كَيْفَ يُصَلِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَقَامَ فَبَالَ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَكَفَّيْهِ ثُمَّ نَامَ ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الْقِرْبَةِ فَأَطْلَقَ شِنَاقَهَا ثُمَّ صَبَّ فِي الْجَفْنَةِ أَوْ الْقَصْعَةِ فَأَكَبَّهُ بِيَدِهِ عَلَيْهَا ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءًا حَسَنًا بَيْنَ الْوُضُوءَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي فَجِئْتُ فَقُمْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ فَقُمْتُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ قَالَ فَأَخَذَنِي فَأَقَامَنِي عَنْ يَمِينِهِ فَتَكَامَلَتْ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ نَامَ حَتَّى نَفَخَ وَكُنَّا نَعْرِفُهُ إِذَا نَامَ بِنَفْخِهِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ فَصَلَّى فَجَعَلَ يَقُولُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ أَوْ فِي سُجُودِهِ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا وَفِي سَمْعِي نُورًا وَفِي بَصَرِي نُورًا وَعَنْ يَمِينِي نُورًا وَعَنْ شِمَالِي نُورًا وَأَمَامِي نُورًا وَخَلْفِي نُورًا وَفَوْقِي نُورًا وَتَحْتِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ لِي نُورًا أَوْ قَالَ وَاجْعَلْنِي نُورًا و حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَقُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ بْنُ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ سَلَمَةُ فَلَقِيتُ كُرَيْبًا فَقَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ فَجَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ غُنْدَرٍ وَقَالَ وَاجْعَلْنِي نُورًا وَلَمْ يَشُكَّ و حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَهَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ أَبِي رِشْدِينٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ بِتُّ عِنْدَ خَالَتِي مَيْمُونَةَ وَاقْتَصَّ الْحَدِيثَ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ غَسْلَ الْوَجْهِ وَالْكَفَّيْنِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَتَى الْقِرْبَةَ فَحَلَّ شِنَاقَهَا فَتَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءًا بَيْنَ الْوُضُوءَيْنِ ثُمَّ أَتَى فِرَاشَهُ فَنَامَ ثُمَّ قَامَ قَوْمَةً أُخْرَى فَأَتَى الْقِرْبَةَ فَحَلَّ شِنَاقَهَا ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءًا هُوَ الْوُضُوءُ وَقَالَ أَعْظِمْ لِي نُورًا وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ وَاجْعَلْنِي نُورًا و حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَلْمَانَ الْحَجْرِيِّ عَنْ عُقَيْلِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ أَنَّ سَلَمَةَ بْنَ كُهَيْلٍ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ كُرَيْبًا حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ بَاتَ لَيْلَةً عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى الْقِرْبَةِ فَسَكَبَ مِنْهَا فَتَوَضَّأَ وَلَمْ يُكْثِرْ مِنْ الْمَاءِ وَلَمْ يُقَصِّرْ فِي الْوُضُوءِ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَفِيهِ قَالَ وَدَعَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَتَئِذٍ تِسْعَ عَشْرَةَ كَلِمَةً قَالَ سَلَمَةُ حَدَّثَنِيهَا كُرَيْبٌ فَحَفِظْتُ مِنْهَا ثِنْتَيْ عَشْرَةَ وَنَسِيتُ مَا بَقِيَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِي فِي قَلْبِي نُورًا وَفِي لِسَانِي نُورًا وَفِي سَمْعِي نُورًا وَفِي بَصَرِي نُورًا وَمِنْ فَوْقِي نُورًا وَمِنْ تَحْتِي نُورًا وَعَنْ يَمِينِي نُورًا وَعَنْ شِمَالِي نُورًا وَمِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ نُورًا وَمِنْ خَلْفِي نُورًا وَاجْعَلْ فِي نَفْسِي نُورًا وَأَعْظِمْ لِي نُورًا و حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي شَرِيكُ بْنُ أَبِي نَمِرٍ عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ رَقَدْتُ فِي بَيْتِ مَيْمُونَةَ لَيْلَةَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَهَا لِأَنْظُرَ كَيْفَ صَلَاةُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِاللَّيْلِ قَالَ فَتَحَدَّثَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَعَ أَهْلِهِ سَاعَةً ثُمَّ رَقَدَ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ وَفِيهِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَاسْتَنَّ

Narrated to us by [Muhammad bin Bashshar] Narrated to us by [Muhammad] namely the son of Ja'far, Narrated to us by [Shu'bah] from [Salamah] from [Kuraib] from [Ibn Abbas] he said 'I stayed overnight at the house of my aunt, Maimunah. So I wanted to see how the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) performed the night prayer. (So on that night) he woke up and urinated. Then he washed his face, his hands, and slept again. Then he woke up and went straight to the qirbah (water container). He opened its lid and poured it into a small bowl. Then he scooped with his hand and performed ablution by perfecting his ablution. After that, he prayed, and I joined him in prayer, standing on his left side. But he took hold of me and moved me to his right. (On that night) the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was a perfect thirteen rak'ahs. After that, he slept until he was snoring. And we knew when he slept, he snored. After that, he went out to perform the Subuh prayer. Then he recited in his prayer or in his prostration: "O Allah, place light in my heart, light in my hearing, light in my sight, light on my right, light on my left, light in front of me, light behind me, light above me, light below me, and grant me light -or he said- and make me light." Narrated to me by [Ishaq bin Manshur] Narrated to us by [An Nadhru bin Shumail] he informed us [Shu'bah] Narrated to us by [Salamah bin Kuhail] from [Bukair] from [Kuraib] from [Ibn Abbas]. [Salamah said] I met [Kuraib] and he said, [Ibn Abbas] said I was at the house of my aunt, Maimunah, then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came. Then he narrated a similar hadith to the hadith of Ghundar, and he said "And make me light." Without doubt. Narrated to us by [Abu Bakr bin Abu Shaibah] and [Hannad bin As Sariya] both said, Narrated to us by [Abu Ahwash] from [Sa'id bin Masruq] from [Salamah bin Kuhail] from [Abu Risydin] the freedman of Ibn Abbas, from [Ibn Abbas] he said I stayed overnight at the house of my aunt, Maimunah. He narrated the hadith, but he did not mention washing the face and both hands. Instead, he said 'Then he went to the qirbah and opened its lid, then he performed ablution between two ablutions, then he went to his bed and slept. After that, he woke up again, then went to the qirbah (water container) and opened its lid, then performed ablution.' Then he recited: 'Make great light for me.' And he did not say 'And make me light.' Narrated to me by [Abu Thahir] Narrated to us by [Ibn Wahb] from [Abdurrahman bin Salman Al Hajri] from [Uqail bin Khalid] that [Salamah bin Kuhail] narrated to him that [Kuraib] narrated to him that [Ibn Abbas] stayed overnight with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), he said the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) went to the qirbah (water container), poured water from it and performed ablution without using much water, but he also did not reduce his ablution. He narrated the hadith. Then in that hadith, he said On that night, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed with nineteen words. Salamah said, Kuraib narrated it to me, and I memorized twelve words from him and forgot the rest. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed: 'O Allah, grant me light in my heart, light in my tongue, light in my hearing, light in my sight, light above me, light below me, light on my right, light on my left, light in front of me, light behind me, light in my soul, and make great light for me.' Narrated to me by [Abu Bakr bin Ishaq] he informed us [Ibn Abu Maryam] he informed us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] he informed me [Sharik bin Abu Namir] from [Kuraib] from [Ibn Abbas] that he said 'I stayed overnight at the house of Maimunah, where the Prophet (peace be upon him) was at her house. This was so I could see how the night prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was. The Prophet (peace be upon him) conversed with his wife for a while, then he slept.' He narrated the hadith. And in it, he said 'Then he woke up, performed ablution, and brushed his teeth.'
