حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أُمِّ وَلَدٍ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ لِأُمِّ سَلَمَةَإِنِّي امْرَأَةٌ أُطِيلُ ذَيْلِي وَأَمْشِي فِي الْمَكَانِ الْقَذِرِ فَقَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُطَهِّرُهُ مَا بَعْدَهُقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا نَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ الْمَوْطَإِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَهُوَ قَوْلُ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ قَالُوا إِذَا وَطِيءَ الرَّجُلُ عَلَى الْمَكَانِ الْقَذِرِ أَنَّهُ لَا يَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ غَسْلُ الْقَدَمِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ رَطْبًا فَيَغْسِلَ مَا أَصَابَهُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَرَوَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أُمِّ وَلَدٍ لِهُودِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَهُوَ وَهَمٌ وَلَيْسَ لِعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ ابْنٌ يُقَالَ لَهُ هُودٌ وَإِنَّمَا هُوَ عَنْ أُمِّ وَلَدٍ لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَهَذَا الصَّحِيحُ

Narrated to us [Abu Raja' Qutaibah], he said: narrated to us [Malik bin Anas] from [Muhammad bin Umarah] from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim] from [a slave-woman of Abdurrahman bin Auf], she said: "I said to [Ummu Salamah]: 'I am a woman whose garment trails and I walk in filthy places.' She said: 'The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "What comes after purifies it."'" He said: "In this chapter there is also a narration from Abdullah bin Mas'ud: he said: 'I was with The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in a filthy place and we did not perform wudu.'" Abu Isa said: "More than one scholar holds this view: they say: 'One who steps on filth need not wash his feet unless the filth is wet: then he should remove its trace.' [Abdullah bin Al Mubarak] also narrated this hadith from [Malik bin Anas] from [Muhammad bin Umarah] from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim] from [a slave-woman of Hud bin Abdurrahman bin Auf] from [Ummu Salamah]. But there is doubt in it because Abdurrahman bin Auf had no son named Hud. It is the narration from a slave-woman of Ibrahim bin Abdurrahman bin Auf from Ummu Salamah: that is correct."
