حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ الْمَعْنَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلَانِ فَأَغْلَظَ لَهُمَا وَسَبَّهُمَا قَالَتْ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَمَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْكَ خَيْرًا مَا أَصَابَ هَذَانِ مِنْكَ خَيْرًا قَالَتْ فَقَالَ أَوَمَا عَلِمْتِ مَا عَاهَدْتُ عَلَيْهِ رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ قُلْتُ اللَّهُمَّ أَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ سَبَبْتُهُ أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ مَغْفِرَةً وَعَافِيَةً وَكَذَا وَكَذَا

Narrated to us [Abu Muawiyah] and [Ibn Numair] in meaning, both of them said: "Narrated to us [Al-A'masy] from [Muslim] from [Masruq] from [Aisyah] said: "There were two men who met the Prophet Peace be upon him, then he was harsh towards both of them and criticized them." (Aisyah) said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah! It is true that the good that someone has obtained from you is not obtained by these two men from you." (Aisyah) said: Then the Messenger of Allah said: "Do you know the agreement that I have made with my Rob 'the Mighty and Majestic?" He said: "I always say: 'O Allah, every believer whom I criticize, I hit, or I curse, then let that be forgiven and pardoned for him, and so and so.'
