Imam Abu Dawud : 110حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُضَرَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ أَنَّ رُبَيِّعَ بِنْتَ مُعَوِّذٍ ابْنِ عَفْرَاءَ أَخْبَرَتْهُ قَالَتْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَتَوَضَّأُ قَالَتْ فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ وَمَسَحَ مَا أَقْبَلَ مِنْهُ وَمَا أَدْبَرَ وَصُدْغَيْهِ وَأُذُنَيْهِ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً
Narrated by Qutaibah bin Sa’id, narrated by Bakr, meaning Ibn Mudlar, from Ibn ‘Ajlan, from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin ‘Aqil, that Ar-Rubayyi’ binti Mu’awwidz bin ‘Afra’ informed him, saying: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, perform ablution. She said: He wiped his head, its front, back, temples, and ears once.
