Imam Tirmidzi : 40حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ وَهَنَّادٌ وَقُتَيْبَةُ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ح قَالَ و حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ مَرَّةً مَرَّةًقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عُمَرَ وَجَابِرٍ وَبُرَيْدَةَ وَأبِي رَافِعٍ وَابْنِ الْفَاكِهِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَحَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَحْسَنُ شَيْءٍ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ وَأَصَحُّ وَرَوَى رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَغَيْرُهُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنْ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَوَضَّأَ مَرَّةً مَرَّةً قَالَ وَلَيْسَ هَذَا بِشَيْءٍ وَالصَّحِيحُ مَا رَوَى ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ وَهِشَامُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَسُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَعَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
Narrated to us [Abu Kurayb], [Hannad] and [Qutaibah]: they said: narrated to us [Waki‘] from [Sufyan]. From another chain: narrated to us [Muhammad bin Bashshar], he said: narrated to us [Yahya bin Sa‘id], he said: narrated to us [Sufyan] from [Zayd bin Aslam] from [‘Ata’ bin Yasar] from [Ibn ‘Abbas]: "The Prophet, may Allah’s peace be upon him, performed wudu washing each limb once." In this chapter there are also narrations from ‘Umar, Jabir, Buraydah, Abu Rafi‘ and Ibn Al-Fakih. Abu Isa said: "The hadith of Ibn ‘Abbas is the best and most authentic in this chapter. Rishdin bin Sa‘d and others narrated it from Ad-Dahhak bin Shurahbil from Zayd bin Aslam from his father from ‘Umar bin Al-Khattab: ‘The Prophet, may Allah’s peace be upon him, performed wudu washing each limb once.’" Abu Isa said: "But this is incorrect: the authentic narration is that of [Ibn ‘Ajlan], [Hisham bin Sa‘d], [Sufyan Ath-Thawri] and [‘Abdul ‘Aziz bin Muhammad] from [Zayd bin Aslam] from [‘Ata’ bin Yasar] from [Ibn ‘Abbas] from the Prophet, may Allah’s peace be upon him."
