Rasulullah apabila bertakbir maka beliau mengangkat kedua tangannya hingga sejajar dengan kedua telinganya
Imam Ibnu Majah : 857حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ الضَّرِيرُ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ حُجْرٍ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَأَنْظُرَنَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَيْفَ يُصَلِّي فَقَامَ فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ فَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى حَاذَتَا أُذُنَيْهِ فَلَمَّا رَكَعَ رَفَعَهُمَا مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ فَلَمَّا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ رَفَعَهُمَا مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
Narrated to us Bishr bin Mu'adh Adh-Dharir, narrated to us Bishr Ibnul Mufadhdhal, narrated to us Asim bin Kulaib, from his father, from Wa'il bin Hujr, he said, 'I said, I will surely observe how the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prays." He stood facing the qibla raised both hands until they aligned with his ears did the same when bowing and when raising his head from bowing.'"
