Imam Darimi : 1621حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ أَبِي صَغِيرَةَ عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ قَالَ أَصْبَحْتُ فِي يَوْمٍ قَدْ أُشْكِلَ عَلَيَّ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ أَوْ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَأَصْبَحْتُ صَائِمًا فَأَتَيْتُ عِكْرِمَةَ فَإِذَا هُوَ يَأْكُلُ خُبْزًا وَبَقْلًا فَقَالَ هَلُمَّ إِلَى الْغَدَاءِ فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ فَقَالَ أُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ لَتُفْطِرَنَّ فَلَمَّا رَأَيْتُهُ حَلَفَ وَلَا يَسْتَثْنِي تَقَدَّمْتُ فَعَذَّرْتُ وَإِنَّمَا تَسَحَّرْتُ قُبَيْلَ ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ قُلْتُ هَاتِ الْآنَ مَا عِنْدَكَ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صُومُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ وَأَفْطِرُوا لِرُؤْيَتِهِ فَإِنْ حَالَ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُ سَحَابٌ فَكَمِّلُوا الْعِدَّةَ ثَلَاثِينَ وَلَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الشَّهْرَ اسْتِقْبَالًا
Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Sa'id] Narrated to us [Isma'il bin 'Ulaiyyah] Narrated to us [Hatim bin Abu Shaghirah] from [Simak bin Harb] he said, "I fasted on a day that I was still unsure about, whether the month of Sha'ban or RamaAnd. So I came to see Ikrimah, apparently he was eating bread and vegetables, he then said, 'Come here for lunch.' Then I said, "I am fasting." [Ikrimah] said again, "I swear by Allah, you must break your fast! "So when I saw him swearing and not saying God willing, I came forward and explained the reason, "In fact, before that I had eaten sahur. Now tell me your reasons." Then he said, "[Ibn Abbas] Narrated to us, he said, "The Messenger of Allah Peace be upon him said: "Fast because you see it (hilal) and break your fast because you see it. If there are clouds that prevent you from seeing it, then complete the number of months to thirty days, and do not welcome the month of RamaAnd by fasting.
