Lautan itu suci airnya dan halal bangkainnya (untuk dimakan)
Imam Malik : 37حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى عَنْ مَالِك عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ مِنْ آلِ بَنِي الْأَزْرَقِ عَنْ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ وَهُوَ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الدَّارِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُجَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا نَرْكَبُ الْبَحْرَ وَنَحْمِلُ مَعَنَا الْقَلِيلَ مِنْ الْمَاءِ فَإِنْ تَوَضَّأْنَا بِهِ عَطِشْنَا أَفَنَتَوَضَّأُ بِهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هُوَ الطَّهُورُ مَاؤُهُ الْحِلُّ مَيْتَتُهُ
It was narrated to me by Yahya, from Malik, from Safwan ibn Sulaym, from Sa'id ibn Salamah, from among the family of Bani Al-Azraq, from Al-Mughirah ibn Abu Burdah, who was from Bani 'Abd Ad-Dar, that he heard Abu Hurairah say: "A man came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: 'O Messenger of Allah! We travel by sea and carry little water with us. If we perform ablution with it, we will become thirsty. Should we perform ablution with it?' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Its water is pure (Tahur), its dead meat is halal (permissible to eat).
