حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ حَدَّثَنَا يُوسُفُ بْنُ الْمَاجِشُونِ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ وَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي فَطَرَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا أَنَا مِنْ الْمُشْرِكِينَ إِنَّ صَلَاتِي وَنُسُكِي وَمَحْيَايَ وَمَمَاتِي لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَبِذَلِكَ أُمِرْتُ وَأَنَا مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ الْمَلِكُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَنْتَ رَبِّي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي وَاعْتَرَفْتُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي جَمِيعًا إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَاهْدِنِي لِأَحْسَنِ الْأَخْلَاقِ لَا يَهْدِي لِأَحْسَنِهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي سَيِّئَهَا إِنَّهُ لَا يَصْرِفُ عَنِّي سَيِّئَهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ آمَنْتُ بِكَ تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ فَإِذَا رَكَعَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ رَكَعْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَلَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ خَشَعَ لَكَ سَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي وَمُخِّي وَعِظَامِي وَعَصَبِي فَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا لَكَ الْحَمْدُ مِلْءَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرَضِينَ وَمِلْءَ مَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَمِلْءَ مَا شِئْتَ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَعْدُ فَإِذَا سَجَدَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ سَجَدْتُ وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ وَلَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ سَجَدَ وَجْهِيَ لِلَّذِي خَلَقَهُ فَصَوَّرَهُ وَشَقَّ سَمْعَهُ وَبَصَرَهُ فَتَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ ثُمَّ يَكُونُ آخِرَ مَا يَقُولُ بَيْنَ التَّشَهُّدِ وَالسَّلَامِ اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ وَمَا أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِهِ مِنِّي أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Abdul Malik bin Abu Asy Syawarib], narrated to us [Yusuf bin Al Majisyun], narrated to me [my father] from [Abdur Rahman Al A'raj] from [Ubaidullah bin Abu Rafi'] from [Ali bin Abu Thalib] that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, when praying at night said: WAJJAHTU WAJHIYA LILLADZII FATHARAS SAMAAWAATI WAL ARDHA HANIIFAN WA MAA ANA MINAL MUSYRIKIIN, INNA SHALAATII WA NUSUKII WA MAHYAAYA WA MAMAATII LILLAAHI RABBIL 'AALAMIIN, LAA SYARIIKA LAHU WA BIDZAALIKA UMIRTU WA ANA MINAL MUSLIMIIN. ALLAAHUMMA ANTAL MALIKU LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA, ANTA RABBII WA ANA 'ABDUKA, ZHALAMTU NAFSII WA'TARAFTU BIDZANBII, FAGHFIR LII DZUNUUBII JAMII'AN. INNAHU LAA YAGHFIRUDZ DZUNUUBA ILLAA ANTA WAHDINII LIAHSANIL AKHLAAQI LAA YAHDII LIAHSANIHAA ILLAA ANTA WASHRIF 'ANNII SAYYIAHAA INNAHUU LAA YASHRIFU 'ANNII SAYYIAHAA ILLAA ANTA, AAMANTU BIKA, TABAARAKTA WA TA'AALAITA ASTAGHFIRUKA WA ATUUBU ILAIKA. (I have turned my face sincerely to the One who originated the heavens and the earth, and I am not of the polytheists. Indeed my prayer, my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah Lord of the worlds, no partner has He and with that I am commanded and I am of the Muslims. O Allah You are the King, there is no god except You, You are my Lord and I am Your servant, I wronged myself and admitted my sin, so forgive all my sins. Indeed none forgives sins except You and guide me to the best of manners none guides to its best except You and turn away from me its evil none turns away from me its evil except You. I respond to Your call and all good is in Your hands, and evil is not to You. I am by You and to You, blessed and exalted are You, I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You). And when bowing he said: "ALLAAHUMMA LAKA RAKA'TU WA BIKA AAMANTU WA LAKA ASLAMTU KHASYA'A LAKA SAM'II WA BASHARII, WA MUKHKHII WA 'IZHAAMII WA 'ASHABII." (O Allah for You I bow and in You I believe and to You I submit, my hearing, my sight, my brain, my bones, and my nerves are humble to You). And when raising his head he said: "ALLAAHUMMA RABBANAA LAKAL HAMDU MIL-AS SAMAAWAATI WAL ARDHIINA WA MIL-A MAA BAINAHUMAA, WA MIL-A MAA SYI`TA MIN SYAI-IN BA'DU." (O Allah our Lord to You is praise filling the heavens and the earth and filling what is between them, and filling whatever You will after that). Then when prostrating he said: "ALLAAHUMMA LAKA SAJADTU WA BIKA AAMANTU WA LAKA ASLAMTU, SAJADA WAJHIYA LILLADZII KHALAQAHU FASHAWWARAHU WA SYAQQA SAM'AHU WA BASHARAHU, FATABAARAKALLAAHU AHSANUL KHAALIQIIN " (O Allah to You I prostrate and in You I believe and to You I submit, my face prostrates to the One who created it and formed it and slit its hearing and sight, blessed is Allah the best of creators). Then the last reading he said between tashahhud and salam is: ALLAAHUMMAGHFIRLII MAA QADDAMTU WA MAA AKHKHARTU WA MAA ASRARTU WA MAA A'LANTU WA MAA ANTA A'LAMU BIHII MINNII, ANTAL MUQADDIMU WA ANTAL MUAKHKHIRU LAA ILAAHA ILLAA ANTA." (O Allah forgive me what I sent ahead and what I left behind, what I concealed and what I declared and what You know better than me, You are the Advancer and the Delayer, there is no god except You) Abu Isa said: this hadith is sahih."
