حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ أَكْلِ الضَّبِّ فَقَالَ لَا آكُلُهُ وَلَا أُحَرِّمُهُقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عُمَرَ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَثَابِتِ بْنِ وَدِيعَةَ وَجَابِرٍ وَعَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَسَنَةَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ اخْتَلَفَ أَهْلُ الْعِلْمِ فِي أَكْلِ الضَّبِّ فَرَخَّصَ فِيهِ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ وَكَرِهَهُ بَعْضُهُمْ وَيُرْوَى عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أُكِلَ الضَّبُّ عَلَى مَائِدَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِنَّمَا تَرَكَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَقَذُّرًا

Narrated to me [Qutaibah], narrated to me [Malik bin Anas] from [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Ibnu Umar] that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about eating lizard meat, and he replied: 'I do not eat it, nor do I prohibit it.' In this matter, there is: From Umar, Abu Sa'id, Ibnu Abbas, Tsabit bin Wadi'ah, and Jabir bin Abdurrahman bin Hasanah. Abu Isa said: 'This is a hasan sahih hadith. Scholars differ on eating lizard meat. Some companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, permitted it, while others disliked it. It is narrated from Ibnu Abbas that he said: Lizard meat was eaten at the table of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he did not eat it, only considering it unclean."'
