أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُفَضَّلُ هُوَ ابْنُ فَضَالَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَأَكَلْنَا يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ لُحُومَ الْخَيْلِ وَالْوَحْشِ وَنَهَانَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحِمَارِ

Narrated to us [Qutaibah], he said : has told us [Al Mufadhdhal namely Ibn Fadhalah] from [Ibn Juraij] from [Abu Az Zubair] from [Jabir], he said : During the Khaibar war, we ate horse meat and wild donkeys, and the Prophet peace be upon him forbade donkeys.
