حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَلَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ أُحُدٍ كُسِرَتْ رَبَاعِيَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَشُجَّ فَجَعَلَ الدَّمُ يَسِيلُ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ وَجَعَلَ يَمْسَحُ الدَّمَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ وَيَقُولُ كَيْفَ يُفْلِحُ قَوْمٌ خَضَبُوا وَجْهَ نَبِيِّهِمْ بِالدَّمِ وَهُوَ يَدْعُوهُمْ إِلَى اللَّهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ{ لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنْ الْأَمْرِ شَيْءٌ }

Narrated by [Nahsr bin Ali Al Jahdlami] and [Muhammad bin Al Mutsanna], both said: Narrated by [Abdul Wahb], narrated by [Humaid] from [Anas bin Malik], he said: During the Battle of Uhud, the Prophet’s shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam front teeth were broken, and blood flowed down his face. Wiping the blood, he said: 'How can a people prosper who stain their Prophet’s face with blood while he calls them to Allah?' Then Allah revealed: 'You have no part in the matter' (Qs. Ali Imran: 128).
