"Narrated to me [Ahmad bin Yusuf Al Azdi], narrated to us [An Nadlr] - that is Ibnu Muhammad Al Yamami - narrated to us ['Ikrimah] - that is Ibnu 'Ammar - narrated to us [Iyas bin Salamah] from [his father], he said: 'Once, we went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in a battle, and we faced hardship to the point we intended to slaughter some of our riding camels. The Prophet (peace be upon him) ordered us to gather all our provisions, and we spread a mat, and all our provisions were collected on it.' Salamah said: 'I tried to count the number of our troops, like a shepherd counting goats, and we were one hundred and fourteen.' Salamah continued: 'Then we ate until we were all full, and we filled our leather bags. Then the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Is there water for ablution?" A man came with his water skin, and he poured it into a bucket, and all one hundred and fourteen of us performed ablution with it.' Salamah continued: 'After that, eight people came and asked, "Is there still water for purification?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) replied: "The water for ablution is gone."'
